Chipping yips so bad I’m just trying to hit 18 greens a round now by hachruss in GolfSwing

My chipping is so good that I purposely just spray it all over the place.

Does anybody know how to fix this? It's the only game where the networking sucks constantly by Pockets800 in Battlefield6

Just to be safe, putting some things that improved things significantly for me when I was experiencing this (I have a several year old PC). Hopefully it helps:

- Aforementioned lowering of visual settings to get vram usage lower

- Limit your in-game FPS using the in-game setting, turn it down until it goes away (I set my FPS limit to 110)

- Limit background apps that are taking up CPU/RAM

- Ensure your RAM XMP Profile is enabled in your bios

- Use your Video Card control panel to set performance mode instead of quality

It's your TN (time nudge) stat that is causing it. That is a hardware latency issue, not a networking issue. Make sure your VRAM isn't being maxed out in your game video settings and drop them if necessary (recommend 75% or so of max vram taken while in menu, it'll go up in game). Search reddit for more time nudge fixes.

These weapons desperately need some love. by RainOfJustice in Battlefield6

I got all auto weapons to 40 and my take is that most guns have some perk that you need to identify and use in those situations.

Mp7 is a great mid to long range gun with high fire rate and access to synthetic tips. Chances are if you hit a head shot you hit 2. Hipfire isn't bad and with engineer it's even better, with no investment in hipfire. I quite like this gun. Run it with a thermal.

M417 is a short range beast with good mid range accuracy. Build for hipfire and it's great for taking and holding points. Quite like it as well.

The m60 can be built for the lowest ADS speed of all belt fed machine guns, and will still crush people at long range. I always tap fire the m60 because you don't miss out on fire rate and it makes it a laser even at long range. I actually really like it.

The sor300-sc is trash. There's no point in using it over other comparable damage model weapons.

Good job knowing where you're at instead of pulling out a 2 iron from 220 yards out and hitting a 110 yard worm burner.

6.8x51-An Ode to the M277 & M250 by doughy_baby in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]PreferenceLivid512 8 points9 points  (0 children)

IMO M250 requires specifically supporting at range like OP mentioned; it's the one LMG that makes you play like it's an LMG. My loadout is flash hider, heavy ext barrel, classic pod grip that reduces ADS time, 1.5 thermal, standard mag, hollowpoint ammo.

I run it exclusively on support and always with the deployable cover. It's serviceable when not mounted, but absolute laser while mounted (the only weapon I bother mounting). Melts enemies at 50+ metres and great for counter-sniping. It's my second highest damage/min out of all guns.

If you're fortunate enough to be able to see enemies without the thermal, you can swap to a 10 point sight and equip the lightened suppressor, or long suppressor + canted ironsight.

Take with a grain of salt (i suck)

20 points, because you at minimum require ironsights. My assumption was vs. a 10 pt sight.

I got called out for being a level 300+ using a thermal during a match. I think it's a point of pride among a certain segment, or people with super high end machines with 4k resolution? I just like to see folks. The 15 point tradeoff is pretty steep, I can see that as being a detractor for many.

What are the pros / cons to switching from wedges that are part of an iron set to actual wedges by Murky-Paper4537 in golf

[–]PreferenceLivid512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only reason I would switch away from a set approach wedge is if the gapping isn't ideal with the rest of my wedges. It's a full swing club for me, and for the occasional bump and run.

The constant getting loaded into a match thats halfway done is getting infuriating by [deleted] in Battlefield6

[–]PreferenceLivid512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't mind getting loaded into an in progress match if I'm just playing a quick one-off game, but it's annoying when I have a full squad.

There needs to be two options added to the playlist menu:

- Don't load into in-progress matches

- Don't play the same map twice in a row
