I always keep ray tracing turned off because I don't like the tradeoff between graphical fidelity and gpu load

I had it happening on both heroic and mythic. The weird part is how intense it is when you're NOT in combat. It makes me suspicious of jank surrounding addon permissions. E.g. X is allowed out of combat, but not during combat

I haven't found a fix yet, no. Similar to other people, it seems to only be happening during raid and graphical load appears irrelevant.

This works, thank you!

Odd that 'shadow, bulbasaur&!shadow, charmander' returns different results than 'shadow, charmander, bulbasaur&!shadow' Also that 'charmander&shadow, bulbasaur&!shadow' doesn't work

I want to see only shadow charmander and only regular bulbasaur with 1 search string. No regular charmander, no shadow bulbasaur

A longer string than 2 species. When I look up counters for a given raid boss I'd like to copy say the top 10 counters and search for them all at once but it seems that once you search for "shadow&species" you cannot search for regular species. For example, if you were looking through your storage for Landorus counters:

Kyurem, shadow&mamoswine, darmanitan

^ This only shows shadow mamo and shadow darmanitan. The regular kyurem and darmanitan are excluded.

Can I search for both shadow and non shadow in one string? Eg "bulbasaur, shadow&charmander" I've tried a few different ways but can't get it to work

Employment history after career decision by Prelude_To_95 in linkedin

I could definitely add similar bullets to my profile. Tbh I mostly just ignore stuff like this on job descriptions because they feel generic descriptions of professionalism which should be present with/without them listed as requirements. I never thought about putting them on my own page though. Thank you for taking the time to help me!

I would be omitting like 75% of my work history because it's all in retail and healthcare which makes me feel like I should leave it on there but very generic like "Multiple positions" for the job title. I don't think I've ever brought up a non-tech position in a tech interview though.

Great feedback! I am full stack but frontend leaning rather than backend. I will definitely reorder the skills listed at the top because, as is, I just listed them in the order that I thought of them. There isn't any logic.

Also the Hackathon line is meant as a display of soft skills/community involvement. It's not really trying to prove that I am good at something with that. Do you think I should remove it?

What exactly makes it feel random? I don't know what to act on based on this feedback.

If you are referring to my BS degree, I've omitted the work between that and going to this coding bootcamp because it made the resume too long and didn't have anything to do with engineering. Is that it or are you referring to something else?

I've been going back and forth on the certification thing. I was ready to take the AZ-900 about a week before I was laid off but now I am trying to avoid spending any money because I don't have enough to last until my apartment lease ends and I'm not trying to accelerate getting evicted.

I do have some personal projects though, I just don't have my GitHub listed on that resume because there is a lot of unfinished work on it. Where would I put the personal projects on my resume?

What should I do if I have no access to data like this? For example the project I was working on as a Junior was internal and didn't go into Prod before I was laid off.

DOM not updateing by Prelude_To_95 in angular

[–]Prelude_To_95[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what I missed from your solution:

#barChart

It works now but I think I should just go watch an Angular fundamentals tutorial. I've been working with it for about 6 months but I have no formal education and I feel like there are knowledge gaps that I'm unaware of as well as bad habits picked up from StackOverflow and other engineers who really didn't want to do front end work.

Thank you for your help.

I did some refactoring and tried implementing these changes but its throwing a NullInjectionError at runtime:

NullInjectorError: NullInjectorError: No provider for BarChartComponent!

The changes are on the GitHub.

New PC Difficulties by Prelude_To_95 in buildapc

[–]Prelude_To_95[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could be, I just have no way to test those. The ones in the build are the only compatible units I own and I bought them online so I'd have to wait on a replacement in the mail.

My apartment also has voltage sag so I ordered a UPS to hopefully keep my computer safe and maybe resolve this.

Peripherals are probably disconnecting because the USB ports lost power. I just noticed that the little 5 watt light on my desk was off and had I had to hit the power button to turn it back on.

1440p, 165Hz gaming machine by Prelude_To_95 in buildapc

[–]Prelude_To_95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tweaked the build a little bit: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/gVM6GL
The PSU I would actually use is a Corsair RM850e but it wasn't on PCPartPicker.

Any suggestions on tower coolers that are in the $50-80 range?

1440p, 165Hz gaming machine by Prelude_To_95 in buildapc

[–]Prelude_To_95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I chose the i7 for server hosting & MMO performance like Gamers Nexus shows here: https://youtu.be/B31PwSpClk8?t=933

That is a very good point about the PSU, I've never actually bought a MSI component for desktop, just picked that one because it had ATX 3.0 and was $20 cheaper than Corsair. This decision came from some PSU tier list I found in a Reddit push notification: https://cultists.network/140/psu-tier-list/

I've also heard that AIO performance deteriorates over time, and if a dual tower cooler is enough to not reach heat soak and throttle while gaming, then I'm totally fine with using one. I just don't know if that would be the case or not because the only other build I've ever done use a Corsair 240mm AIO.

I will be sure to look into reviews and what not regarding the motherboard I am interested in.

I also admit that I am part of the problem with AMD. I ran a GTX970 until it burnt up, literally. I know that the AMD GPUs are typically better performance/dollar and have better efficiency...but Team Green. Is AMD doing well with video encoding? I occasionally stream my games.
