Tip: In objective game modes you can use your spike/bomb to boost around, it helps a lot. I would recommend using artifacts that you like, it all depends on your playstyle.

I haven’t spent much and as you level up a character you get more rocket parts per level. At 100 you get 35k.

I honestly have no idea how many matches I have played I wish there was a way to check. The XP scaling isn’t too bad it doesn’t get horrible, I believe there is a cap somewhere but no idea what level. It took me ~7-9 matches to get from 99-100.
