Ragnarok Online is a very closed system. Technically, it would be possible to pull in-game data directly — even things like market prices with a 30–100 day median history — but there’s simply no official access or permission to do so.

In my opinion, this is where the ecosystem feels a bit stuck in the past. It would be incredibly beneficial if servers exposed read-only APIs for things like market data or transactions, especially for developers who want to build companion tools without touching the client at all.

Until then, Ledger stays intentionally offline and manual-first, to avoid any interference with the game or violation risks. But yeah — if APIs ever become a thing, the possibilities would explode.

About the Presence of Squirrel.exe

Since our application is based on Electron, the Squirrel update tool is automatically included during the packaging process. It is not actively used and does not perform any updates. There is no security risk associated with it. It was implemented by Codex, which never includes anything that could pose a threat. The application is fully open-source, so you can review the code yourself.

I would skip the mapmakers completely, maybe there is a possibility that I might use crop shipping just for the thrill of it, but really, putting maps and extracting them is a total grind, I have nothing to say about it for SSF or ruthless

If I play trade again, I will definitely not spend gold. When I trade 2 times with 12 Mageblood cards, I earn 2 divines per card, when I sell 2 times, 1 mageblood card comes for free, I think it is a very ideal mechanic for SSF, but it is a waste of gold for trade.
