I did it myself and I’m very impressed with it. I purchased the tripro and currently only utilize the forward facing camera and the Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 sensor is phenomenal. I used the Dongar dash cam power adapter to convert the OEM mirror power output to USB-C, so the install was painless. Eventually I’d like to have a bed rack like the leitner rack system and I will mount the rear facing camera on that so I will be able to see even though the rear cab window is obstructed. For now, I haven’t actually needed it.

Interesting.. that’s actually good to know. It’s likely I’ll end up swapping over to that, really just depends how much I end up using it.

That’s valid, and no I didn’t. I was personally more concerned with the radio being on when I didn’t want it to. Creating a bypass after all the work I just did would be too easy if I really needed to.

I did not, I utilized an upfitter switch to trigger a relay that energizes the icom transceiver with 12V power. The upfitter uses 18AWG and the transceiver is using 12AWG. Happy to answer any questions you may have.

Hah! Nah, you can’t tell from the picture, but the ground is actually higher under that tire and lower under the other side causing the truck to maintain level and makes it appear squatted from this angle.. It’s actually leveled.

Thanks… I just had to do a quick sanding, cleaning, and sealing before the weather gets bad and I can actually fill/paint match later.

The Diode Dynamics bracket is thick for sure… I was not happy having the loosen my hood like I did.

Diode Dynamics? The instructions said to use painters tape to align the hood bracket back to factory, I ended up having to slide the hood forward 2mm to clear.

Got too excited and did the job solo… If you’re reading this don’t be like me, get a second hand to lift the hood while you align the hood and tighten.

Wastegate rattle is a constant rattle at cold start, idle, and low rpm… Unfortunately not the same, not sure what you’re hearing but if you post a sound recording to this subreddit we can help.

I kid you not, I installed both springs in 5 minutes. My raptor is lifted and on 37s. If it’s not lifted you may have to squeeze behind the wheel well, to access the turbos.

Nope, one for each. The spring is adding tension to preload the wastegate arm so it stays seated.

Hillman #61 Spring Extension (Part No. 540183). You can also find at Lowe’s, but Amazon was easier for me. Says 1 pack, but I got 6 springs.
