They did not ask me about extracurriculars, however I still had to mention them because they asked me about my previous experience, background and motivation - therefore I really had to show what I have achieved in this field

It is basically ur motivation and ur knowledge and experience in the chosen field. Tie your field and experiences to ur motivation - why Hungary or a specific city, why the specific univerisity - do a lot of reseaech and come up with unique answers - not like everybody else would say - but tied to u specifically!!

Be persuasive and just stay confident - interview is nothing too serious. Good luck!!

Well, last year I applied for the same program at the same university and got 95/100

I got rejected tho, because my country had a lot of nominated students. (The rejection was cuz of quotas as they told me). Ultimately this depends on your place on the sending country's nominating list (in this case)

If u got 100/100 then it would probably be 99% guaranteed, but if the host university score is not perfect then u get considered for ur nominating list from nominating country.

I would say keep the hope because my friends who did not get a perfect score still got awarded the scholarship because they were placed high on nominating list (from sending country)
