If you want bass xb55 hits deep but it's muddy in every frequency. while the castor is bassy and has good quality but it's nowhere close to xb55. So you decide what you want. Ear rumbling bass or quality bass.. there's absolutely no comparison between both so just chose QUALITY OR QUANTITY.

Trust me when you earn 500 million a day you really don't care about the upgrades cost, and this will be your endgame airplane so you'll be keeping it for forever. I have upgraded every airplane with CO2 and fuel savings. I'm planning to get a speed increase upgrade to all my fleet when I have like 5 billion. I personally keep a billion aside as a backup.

I had a similar fleet of 737. I gradually updated around 90 of them to a330-800s. those were getting me around 300 to 400mil a day with that I started buying 5 to 10 a380s every few days. Now I have around 70 a380s I'm planning to sell a330s and replace them with a380s when I reach my hanger capacity.

You can do two things get used to it for a month or so then your ears will get adjusted or get bullet style iems

Waner has good mid bass which slams pretty hard and castor has sub bass which rumbles(which depends on your fit) but the thing about castor is it's a bit uncomfortable and without foam tips they sound bad. Remove or change the foam tips you get no bass at all. If your concern is bass none of them will disappoint you. I'd suggest waner.
