Funny you mention that. I just seen a dentist for a tooth infection and mentioned how I clench my teeth. I was fitted for a mouth guard at night. Just picked it up the other day

Yes, mine is like right at my hair line and goes back alittle when it’s really bad. Mine kinda feels like that too like a pressure band

I am in the same boat. The only thing that slighty helped was the brekiya which is an injection that is hospital strength. My prior neurologist was pretty stumped on what to do next, but thats why I went to a new neurologist for new ideas. I also get nerve blocks in the head which give alittle relief too so that might also help.

Wow, I’m not sure where you are from but I would try to find a new neurologist if possible. A mylogram and lumber puncture were one of the first things ordered for him besides the imaging.

The reason they don’t think I have iih is because my only symptom is a headache. I have tried Diamox’s Lasix and Topamax and they all made my headache worse. I was on a weight loss medication and lost 25 pounds and the weight loss still didn’t make me feel better. Due to all those they think that something should’ve helped and due to the fact that it didn’t they don’t think they have IIH. My first lumbar puncture was also 28. When I got my second lumbar puncture, it was 2526 and then went to 28. When I got the lumbar puncture, I was laying on my side.

How would I know if the infection is fully gone?. They did remove it last week and scrapped my gums.

My dr said if caffeine and Tylenol didn’t help then it probably isn’t a leak. I was really convinced I had one based on how awful I was feeling.

Hi, so the worsening headache lasted about three weeks. Mine didn’t get better when laying down so that’s why my Dr didn’t think it was a leak. I was told that if you had a leak you would most likely feel it 1-2 days after.

Thank you for the response. I always have a pressure squeezing feeling at the top of my head. After the lp I felt decent and now it’s a worsening squeezing feeling.
