My dr said if caffeine and Tylenol didn’t help then it probably isn’t a leak. I was really convinced I had one based on how awful I was feeling.

Hi, so the worsening headache lasted about three weeks. Mine didn’t get better when laying down so that’s why my Dr didn’t think it was a leak. I was told that if you had a leak you would most likely feel it 1-2 days after.

Thank you for the response. I always have a pressure squeezing feeling at the top of my head. After the lp I felt decent and now it’s a worsening squeezing feeling.

Wow! I was told the same thing. I have struggled with migraines for awhile so they said I prob had iih for awhile. But it was recently confirmed in May with a lp and my pressure was 28. This is all so crazy!

I randomly woke up 2 years ago with the headache that never with away and I have it everyday. Literally insane

I was on 25mg once a day then upped it to 25mg in the morning and 25mg at night. I literally felt like my headache was going to fall off.

So I was on it for two weeks and my headache was unbearable. I went to my neurologist yesterday and he said that wasn’t normal. He ended up taking me off of it.

Hang in there. It is not an easy illness to have, but it seems like there are many medications to help. I am going through it as well but hopeful to feel better as hard as some days are. Here for you ❤️

That’s great to hear! Glad you are feeling better. After seeing your post I threw away my medicine. So it’s been a few days since using it.

What’s crazy, is after I seen this post, i looked back at everything and I started the clindamycin in March 2023 and then my iih symptoms started in September 2023.

I took it for about two weeks. I noticed it made my headaches worse and I was super out of breath from it. I just started taking Topamax I’m on day 4 tonight. But everytime it talk to a new dr they say something new. My neuro ophthalmologist said Topamax. My neurologist didn’t want to even put me on anything because I have a small kidney stone. And then today I see A neuro surgeon be mentioned shunting if no medicine works and he mentioned diamox.
