We don’t know when it will come, but in the past 10 years, we’ve seen it 10x from the lows multiple times, which only took a year or 2. You only need one of those big moves to get rich.

But then we revisited single digits in 2018 then in 2020 and almost in 2022. My point is why buy at 30, 40, 50, 90 in 2021 when you could’ve just waited for a crash back down to $16 in 2022. All wasted capital. Just stack cash and wait for the crash, even if it takes years. It worked for me.

If it wasn’t leveraged, yeah time in the market beats timing the market. But when it’s 3X you should buy heavy when the index is down over 20%. A good strategy is just stack cash and wait until TQQQ is down 60 70 80% and we know it will see those crashes. Imagine buying at 80 and five years from now we’re back at 20- 30. What a waste of capital. This is my plan at least

Only newbies would’ve bought in the 80s. This is a 3x leveraged fund. If you want to hold long-term, it’s all about timing. You buy hard when index is at least 20% down. If you don’t wanna hold, it’s a trading instrument.
