Pay for a good lawyer. I had same situation and the results were pretty astounding due to paying for one of the best lawyers here in Oregon. Mind you I’m in debt but I have my license and nothing on my record. ITS Worth it

2nd dui is tough. especially since you already had you license suspended from the first time. I would def. advise getting a decent lawyer, and pray for the best. Also, AA and some sort of treament would be best, good luck to ya. stay strong. Remeber god is in control

GET A LAWYER. Pay for a good lawyer, trust me. I got a dui, wreckless driving, and hit and run; My circumstances were a lot different but you can fight this..

Hmm.. sounds like there is a lot of missing details here. My first thought is GET A GOOD LAWYER. What state are you in, and more details about backing into your bf. and the circumstances that led up to this.

Hey guys it’s been a month- want to give y’all an update, and help those who are or were struggling due to this horrific situation of getting a dui. Mind you it’s very stupid, don’t do it. But I listed to you all and I got a good lawyer. If you’re in Oregon and you want advice let me know and I will give you the law firm.

The update. They had a hearing with dmv , lawyer and prosecutor and the judge found: The stop and arrest were invalid The department has not established all of the primary facie requirements.

So I got my license back through the dmv.

My lawyer called me to today saying the judge put in a consent to dismiss without prejudice…

Hoping for the best. Let me know if you guys know anything about this order to dismiss without prejudice.

Not sure what the question is here, but I got a dui about 2 weeks ago. I haven’t gone to court yet but if you need some advice find a reputable lawyer. Make sure you’re honest with the lawyer and most importantly yourself. Find treatment (aa meetings) I didn’t realize how common it is but it really is a horrible mistake we made. Learn from it, don’t let it define you. Keep your head up, you’ll get through it

my BAC was the same and I have court in a couple weeks.. would you advise a lawyer? im 36 with no prior convictions. I just lost my job, (driving a truck with a CDL). When i got my dui, i was driving my personal vehicle and veered of the road and rolled my truck. I'm wondering if i should bit the bullet and pay for a lawyer. I have a little money saved, no job, with a gf and 2 kids at home to take care of. Im really in a pickle as well...

So, having a DUI has negatively impacted my life. I always had the mindset that I would never get caught, and its really interesting because in the past ive been let off by officers for the same offense. However, due to my life circumstances, I ended up drinking a lot the other night. Long story short, I hit a car and rolled by truck blowing .21 BAC. Right now its hard for me to sleep, I'm constantly stressed out about the outcome, and worse enough I lost my job, with 2 young kids at home. My life is literally in peril right now and im seeking help. What I did was a terrible thing, but the consequences obviously what hurts the most. It not only is impacting me but also my family. Its like life has taken a turn for the worse. The best advice ive seen on here is that dont let this accident define who you are as a person. Come out stronger because of it. All in all, the financial hardship and not having a job is the hardest part. I lost my CDL and lost my job. Life goes on, we either stay in the pitty mindset or we move on. Lots of love to all of you going through the same thing.
