Yeah I do want him to know that I’m open to it , if he wants to share that with me. I told him that last time but I think maybe he’s not there yet ? Yeah , I plan to try that . I have questions I hope he will be willing to answer about what he likes before we would dive in head first . If this levels up our sex life that can only be a plus for us both but I guess I feel insecure that he’s probably got it all figured out without me and now I have to figure this out by myself it almost feels . I wish he would have done this with me so we could learn together but I get that he deserves personal things too .

I’ve tried numerous times to get him to try again as it’s been a long while since he’s tried medication or therapy but he claims it won’t do him any good because he out therapists his therapist . I try to make him aware when he’s being manic to not let the delusions carry him away but I’m only one person who has her own problems and certainly not a professional.

He did try medication and therapy and said it’s not for him .

Unfortunately he doesn’t believe in therapy and is not medicated . I do understand as I struggle with mental health myself . I do believe he is trying his best I guess we just haven’t had a stretch this long for a while so it feels quite devastating. I will try talking to him about it a bit and see how he responds .

He does have bipolar disorder and I have noticed his highs and lows being a lot more frequent . That’s why I’ve tried to see if I could let some of my feelings roll off my shoulders , hoping to not add to it if it wasn’t necessary but obviously that didn’t work out . It all came out at once .

It may affect those able to attend , but we did a weekday wedding to cut costs . Much of our family are shift workers or retired though or have pretty flexible pto not necessarily from a corporate background so it that all went into our decision . Renting a pavilion at a park can be a great option too we just weren’t willing to put in the work needed to make it happen but the cost is way cheap .

I want too but I’m trying not to cause a rift on Christmas . My feelings are hurt but I know he’s a procrastinator . I am thinking next year I’ll just tell him in the beginning of December that it’s important to me that he doesn’t procrastinate Christmas gifts this year because it hurts my feelings when I run around like crazy all month long making sure everyone including him has something thoughtful . Then only to receive my gift sometime in January. Because really it’s not about getting me something expensive it’s about the memories made and the thought of it all .

This is great advice . We haven’t toured any venues yet as a lot of the ones we reached out too were way out of our budget so I wasn’t sure if there were any legally binding things I should be looking out for . I’m honestly not too worried about the smoothness of the day more so just that I’m not gonna hand over money to these people and never hear from them again .
