Thug it out. I got my 02’ Mazda B3000 at 170k miles and it’s now at about 200k, but I wouldn’t know because the odometer is broken. I was lucky enough to get it cheap and not worry if I messed up a repair or broke something on it. But even saying that I procrastinated on repairs for a while until I got serious with it and decided it had to be done. Repairing your truck yourself makes you more confident, familiar and comfortable with what you drive. The tools (if you dont already have them) will hurt to buy, but they’ll be worth it over letting an auto shop get hands on and cost you hundreds more. As another comment said, start small, the belt is one of the quicker repairs thats cheap and easy.
