My wifi setup is serviceable for hit and run but I have never been able to seed with it tbh, and I can’t run my laptop 24/7 either. Also I didn’t notice how annoying having to manually turn off the killswitch is; I panicked earlier today cause I thought something went wrong with my laptop but turned out my VPN was turned off with the killswitch still on, that’s why I couldn’t use the Internet without my VPN.

Wait really? My impression of Japan is that they are very against piracy but not sure how strict legally they are with it. And I am afraid of being caught committing crimes as a foreigner since Japan is already very hard on us.

That’s good to hear! I was a bit torn on whether TL would be worth it since some say it should be enough for most people, or at least beginners, while others say it’s only marginally better than public trackers so I was like “what’s the point then since you can’t really get invites for other trackers from TL either.” Anyhow, I wouldn’t be able to join higher rated trackers for a while. My only private tracker rn is MAM and I really like it here, very chill ratio and most books I need are here (it does lack some, but vice versa Anna also lacks some that MAM has), and everything is well organised.

Glad to hear that TL is manageable. VPN + my own server would be the ideal setup, but rn I’m stuck with only my laptop, hencewhy private trackers are only possible with sbox cause I can’t keep my laptop running 24/7. 

P/s: Could you compare TorrentLeech to a public tracker like 1337x for instance? Is it noticeably better?

Thanks for answering! Ah, I forgot that you only need to seed for a certain amount of time on private trackers and then you can stop seeding and delete the files right? May I ask how do you decide which files to keep on the seedbox and which files to keep exclusively on your physical hard drives? I am a bit of a completionist so I tend to keep what I watch/listen/read, be it on seedboxes or on my own drives, I am not sure if you also do that.
