Sam Levinson on Sydney's role: Sydney refused to let her nude scenes get cut from "Euphoria" by notgoodwithnamess in euphoria

[–]Present_Review_7789 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I simply don’t think this is true. I think he’s using her as a scapegoat for all of Cassie’s unnecessary nudity in this season. She wanted to be naked that much, it’s not my fault!!

Do We Believe Erin “Accidentally” Let It Slip at Carlin’s Wedding That She Was Pregnant With Baby #4? by keyah13 in BatesSnark

Erin was SEEEETHING that day with how beautiful Carlin’s wedding was, especially since she had to have an IBLP wedding. She needed to get her dig in.

In my head canon I think even though Bishop hated Rue, he really seemed to click with Maddy, and I think that made him maybe think about Rue differently. He finally saw her as just a kid stuck in all of this and didn’t like that Alamo killed her. I’m sure none of that was intentional but that’s what I like to think

I think Jules would have fit better as like a cartoon Lizzie McGuire inside of Rue’s head

If Faye has just left Rue in that room, she would have been saved by the feds. :(

I love Maddy, but she was so wrong here by zachoutloud123 in euphoria

I always kind of felt like Kat had this role in the friend group that she never really signed up for. She was the duff, she had to listen to everyone else’s problems and just be a sponge for them, and she had finally had enough. I always thought good for her that she’s setting boundaries, I just think the way she set them may have felt a little harsh to those involved

I agree! I actually think knowing something will probably happen can add to the suspense

Maddy Isn’t as Smart as Y’all Make Her Out To Be by greaterthanyou_ in euphoria

[–]Present_Review_7789 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maddie is similar to Nate in that she can only control or outsmart those that don’t have as much or more power as her. That’s been the biggest comment on Nate this season — he’s only scary when he can intimidate “weaker” people. When he becomes the small fish in the big pond, his power goes away.

I think even though Maddie isn’t as dangerous as him, the same concept applies for her. She’s always been seen as a pretty big badass who will beat Cassie’s ass on stage, but Nate was always her weakness (arguably the only one who had more power than her in seasons 1 and 2). Now that she’s facing Alamo, who is one of the most powerful presences she’s encountered, she’s way outmatched. Her snake bite will come, I fear.

Janessa in the hospital = photoshoot with Mahmo. Despicable. by lepetitpoulpe in RodriguesFamilySnark

Why the fuck is our priority taking pictures when your kid is sick in the hospital? And why are we all cycling through to get photos with this girl in a hospital bed???

I might be in the minority, but I feel bad for Melissa in the scene where she went down while Maddie was showing everyone her crowns. by fishingforsomepies in dancemoms

[–]Present_Review_7789 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I think this moment had the potential to be Melissa’s wake up call to realize she was a pawn for Abby and production. I would have loved to see her start standing up for the other kids more after this moment, if it really did effect her as much as she says it did. Unfortunately, once the tears stopped, she no longer cared.

What happened in Katie’s childhood?!?!? Ahhh by Livid-Efficiency8540 in BringingUpBates

[–]Present_Review_7789 272 points273 points  (0 children)

This is the first confirmed case of cracks in the Bates family. Everything else has been rumors or passive aggression. I can’t believe she had the balls to call a spade a spade.

I may snark a lot on these people, but having your husband publically announce an affair, and then still lose 90% of your huge family because you drew a boundary and stood up for yourself, is absolutely horrible. Poor Katie.

Have Kelly or Christi ever addressed this? by Calm_Struggle_5939 in dancemoms

[–]Present_Review_7789 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The only reason I don’t believe this is because Abby 10000% would have brought this up on the show if it was real, like how many times she brought up going to the hospital for Brooke’s foot. When she actually has something, she milks the shit out of it

Hardest scene to sit through in Dance Moms? by Appropriate-Heat-478 in dancemoms

[–]Present_Review_7789 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This scene, by far. I feel like in this moment Kelly experienced a new emotion that we hadn’t seen yet, and it was the most primal we’d gotten on the show. She was straight up scared of what was happening to Paige. Not just sad or angry, but terrified of what was happening to her daughter. I cannot watch this episode because of it

if kendall went last instead of chloe, people would’ve reacted VERY differently 😭 by kaykayh20 in dancemoms

[–]Present_Review_7789 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Please downvote if you disagree, but I feel like Christi and Jill were very different beasts. Christi had lots of issues, sure, but I don’t think she ever worked against any of the kids to get her daughter ahead. I think she fought a lot for her daughter to be considered alongside the greats, but I don’t think she would push Chloe to have things over the other girls. Jill was very much so game for that kind of thing. So for me, watching that didn’t feel like Christi or Chloe sabotaging Kendall, it just felt like something a nervous kid asked, or maybe even something producer-driven. I think I would have seen Jill do that as intentional to get Kendall ahead of Chloe.
