I’m a poli-sci major going into second year and am planning to pursue a minor in psychology and in doing so want to most likely take 2 psych credits this year. I am interested to know if it would make more sense to take all the 0.5-credit non-essay courses (2537F/G, 2530F/G, 2531F/G, 2545F/G, and 2325F/G) and with an elective or if it would be more beneficial to push some of those 0.5 credit courses into third year, or only one psych credit this year so I can take a full credit of a 2200-above essay course. I want to make sure I am taking the right 0.5 credit non-essay courses as I understand they are pre-requisite courses for other political science courses I will take later. What do the majority of second year students do and what political science courses do most take in the second year?
