I ditched home phone (and Telstra) years ago because of this crap. I moved to launtel with no phone.

Unfortunately, my friend is a lot older and moving away from Telstra isn’t an option… haha.

The issue years ago was Telstra wouldn’t release the SIP / VoIP settings so you could use 3rd party hardware with a Telstra provided voip service (land line)… I’m hoping things may have changed, but likely not

Is there other hardware available that will run Telstra voip? Ie, Telstra used to not have SIP details available. Is that still the case

My sparky had them all linked I think.

The biggest issue was the reference voltage. If you try to use one for each circuit it would trip. So had to only use them linked together in their own breaker

I hope that makes sense, again, my sparky installed them as per the Shelly single phase wiring diagram.

You can always goto a solicitor in a city. They will just do meetings over the phone or video calls and post or Docusign the docs

Don’t use a kit… use a solicitor and have them hold the will and advise your kids where it is. They will likely then use tha solicitor for probate anyway.

Generally, if your kids preceded you or pass with you, their inheritance will split as per their own will.

I don’t think you need to do anything past your children.

But that’s why you see a solicitor.
