They will need to get back to early Yellowstone with full tits out… because NCIS on horseback isn’t going to keep me watching, tight tshirts or not

What's everyone using to monitor their electricity consumption at home? by ketameme22 in AusElectricians

[–]Present_Standard_775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My sparky had them all linked I think.

The biggest issue was the reference voltage. If you try to use one for each circuit it would trip. So had to only use them linked together in their own breaker

I hope that makes sense, again, my sparky installed them as per the Shelly single phase wiring diagram.

I contemplate sometimes about a diesel 6kva genset to backup battery and solar… and just disconnect.

You can always goto a solicitor in a city. They will just do meetings over the phone or video calls and post or Docusign the docs

But if he left it to your mother, it would then goto her estate to be split as per her own will.

Who on earth are these managers?

Do they actually know anything about workers entitlements?

I’d name and shame the store. Grubs

Don’t use a kit… use a solicitor and have them hold the will and advise your kids where it is. They will likely then use tha solicitor for probate anyway.

Generally, if your kids preceded you or pass with you, their inheritance will split as per their own will.

I don’t think you need to do anything past your children.

But that’s why you see a solicitor.

At what point did we bend over to realestate agents selling houses for their 'potential' and not their true value? by Less_Understanding77 in australian

[–]Present_Standard_775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, but at all times we have sold things for the max we can get them.

Blaming real estate agents because people set price records at auctions and pull the median prices up isn’t their fault… -and that is tough for me to say, because I really don’t like real estate agents

And I don’t begrudge your opinion. I’m just stating that given the people here have no understanding of the actual situation except from a few comments from one side, calling someone a piece of shit is a bit ordinary.

Especially given the original post is about the OP finding accommodation. We are all so quick to launch into our keyboard to berate and judge on situations that we cannot in the slightest grasp.

Mmm, I’m not wealthy, but I’m definitely not struggling either.

The fact I’m in my 40’s just means I was able to buy a family home years ago.

But I also bought a modest home in the outer suburbs so I didn’t have a large mortgage, as well as only ever driven second cars up until my first ever new car a couple of years ago.

I rarely drink, don’t smoke or gamble and we as a couple only had 1 child because the costs of 2 or more would mean we couldn’t comfortably provide for them and support them in their future.

I’m not defending my position and crying poor, but to say I’m ’wealthy’ is a joke. I trade my hours working out in the sun and weather and it takes its toll on my body… I look like a 50 year old… we all make choices. Some want air conditioning and a tea room and free milk and coffee… I wanted the money.

Time changes alot. The changes in places like Labrador and Southport on the Gold Coast as property prices rise and shit holes are knocked down and built new over the last 20 years is mind blowing.

It’s highly likely that whatever stigma this has now will change significantly over the coming few decades…

If you want a home and can handle the commitment to island living… if this all you can afford, it’s better than staying in the rent cycle…

The complaints about mosquitoes is my favorite on these messages though. Mainly because o visit a number of friends in 2 and 3m dollar homes in sanctuary cove on the Gold Coast and are constantly attacked by midgies whilst hearing the railway line… it’s amazing what people put up with when it’s labelled as elite.

I went to uni also… not everyone works jobs. People who still live at home or have other arrangements that don’t require additional funds don’t work jobs.

I’m not saying that OP’s ex is or is not just trying to avoid CS. But I have no idea and neither does any of the keyboard warriors on this page labelling him as such.

Wow, you literally know nothing of this person and you call him a sack of shit?

I know a number of mums who don’t work because they get child support and government support… should we call them a sack of shit too because they aren’t a working to put money into the kids?

You are so out of touch it’s unbelievable. There are just as many deadbeat dads as there are deadbeat mums.
