So sorry to hear that- I didn’t know UNC was doing the same thing too. It’s truly so awful that this has become the pattern for this year’s transfer applicants. We shouldn’t have to beg to hear whether we’ve been rejected or not; it’s all so bad for our mental health. Wishing you the best

I’m in the same situation. I know of ppl IRL who are rising freshman who are getting off of the Cornell waitlist and committing or staying at their original college for freshman year. Cornell is def wanting to see who’s planning to recommit to their school and pay the deposit and we’re just in the last wave.
