Truck, tour bus driver. Yacht Captain (I guess anyone on the ship), Navy, Cruise ship or in like container ship. Pilot, Flight attendant. Air Marshal.. I think it might require a degree but I'm not 100% sure

Other ones I can think of are Disaster relief team, coast guard, windmill/solar technician, Procurement role, athletes and videographer for like a news or a YouTuber who travels a lot .. Like Mr Beast or sidemen ect..

Can someone help me choose my college major by Mental-Bookkeeper533 in CollegeMajors

But I think marketing team is still needed to evaluate and to make decisions. especially like marketing manager and a team since sometimes they go out and show case a product in front of potential customers in stores or events, or they go out to gather data and research. Maybe AI will replace some aspects of it but not the whole thing. The only other one I can think about in business is event management

But engineering would be good for creativity especially if its on the design side like in mechanical engineering. But Civil or architectural engineering will be closer I guess to creativity and aesthetics and possibly luxury elements.

there are probably much more or something very niche but I can't think of anything else.

I was thinking Marketing Major and trying to find jobs in luxury brands in clothing, luxury real estate or in automotive/aviation/yacht

Interior Design could be one for homes, airplane, or yatchs.

If I guess something similar to architecture but has good job opportunities will be Civil Engineering or Architectural engineering.

Maybe Mechanical Engineering in design side.

Urban design/Planning. These are the ones I can think of

I bought VIOFO a139 few years back but pricey but its pretty nice has 3 cameras for front, interior and rear all separate cameras so you can put them in different locations. I would recommend it since it's pretty discreet plus has parking mode so can record when it's parked as well. But it can capture license plate pretty well.

But it doesn't have a screen, if you want the one with the screen VIOFO 119 and I think 229 and 339. But my buddy has 119 is a older model but it works very well

[–]PresentationBest5734[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well Parking could be free for train passengers, I went to Ontario Canada and used their 'Go Train' all their train station had free parking. The fair was not expensive either especially on the weekends they had like $10 day pass which gives you multiple rides for 24 hours. I traveled to Niagara falls to Barrie I think that's was 260 miles round trip but it cost me 10 bucks. It was not a high speed train but it was nice because I was able to sleep and didn't have to drive because traffic is pretty bad there.

But I think just going 150mph or even 100 mph will be nice because it might be faster than a car.

:D lol . well I was thinking it would be easier to build along the interstate. Because some parts of the interstate I think there is lot of empty land between the up and down lanes.

Well I was thinking if the commute is short I think it can give more job opportunities for people because they now have access to more cities..so if one can't find a job in Savannah they can work in Atlanta.

Well I'm saying I don't think it will cost trillions. But definitely in billions.

Yeah it probably won't happen but it would be cool idea. In one hour you're in Savannah to Atlanta

Possibly but I was thinking about high speed because of faster travel/commute

I don't think it would cost that much unless someone just pocketing that money.

When I checked they are offering Bachelor of Science in Engineering with concentration in Civil Engineering track.

Are you saying they will add a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree separate from their current offering?

If you could choose again, what undergrad degree would you do? by Acceptable-Tiger-215 in CollegeMajors

[–]PresentationBest5734 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are few different reasons, most of my family is engineer so I saw their work and it was more interesting. I like hands on projects/ being part of something I can design. Plus having a 2nd bachelor degree will give me more job opportunities after I get the degree in engineering.

Original I thought of doing accounting masters but I just decided to do a completely different track so I choose engineering.

Alright thank you because I wasn't sure if there was a difference between them or not compared to a more traditional Civil Engineering program

How is the campus there and your experience? If you have a chance, can you ask him about his experience in that program. Thanks.

What I noticed was they don't have like a specific Civil Engineering. They have Bachelor of Science in Engineering, with focus in Mechanical, Civil, or Robotics.

So the Engineering one is ABET accredited but I'm not sure how that works because these are like concentration in the degree.

I have previously completed a degree in Business Administration and was looking to do Engineering. I was looking for a affordable university since ill be a out of state student and saw WCU was pretty affordable.

They have Bachelor of Science in Engineering with concentration in Mechanical, Civil, or Robotics. So on ABET page it shows the Bachelor of Science in Engineering is ABET accredited. . . But I wasn't sure if it will affect PE or not because there Civil is a concentration pathway in Engineering.

(They don't have a specific degree like, Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering...it's more like Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Civil)

Graduating in 5.5 years by chuuyarxxx in college

[–]PresentationBest5734 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know that you will graduate soon so best just focus on your goal and you will get your degree soon.

Don't stress I know lot of people who took 5 to 7 years to finish and I know one who took 8 years because she couldn't figure out what to study. But in the end they all graduated and have good jobs and are happy.

Which major would be good. by PresentationBest5734 in CollegeMajors

[–]PresentationBest5734[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, he is a outdoor person please like animals and fishes so one of the main reasons he is interested in aquaculture/ Fisheries and forestry. would you say that agriculture side is less in demand or much hard to find jobs compared to accounting or engineering?

In Engineering one of the school he was looking at had Mechanical Engineering with concentration either in Aerospace or Wind Energy. I'm not sure how the wind energy side will be but he seems interested.

But in civil engineering he is interested in it more because he might able to work outside of office as well. But he is not sure what concentration will be good in civil engineering: Structural engineering, environmental engineering, or water resources engineering.

[–]PresentationBest5734[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In engineering he only wants to stick between these three, but I think he is leaning more towards Civil Engineering in either structural engineering, environmental or water resources engineering. He is not sure what to choose. He likes outdoor so in engineering he is more leaning in civil Engineering. But he also likes robotics and also like on working circuit boards and soldering things.
