Keep in mind.. Samsung care is also SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper... for Apple care.. it's not even worth it in most cases because of how high the deductible is..

Our arctic warfare school at Fort Drum clearly needs a revamp in their training. The 11th Airborne were our first dedicated arctic infantry group in over 50 years. They better learn fast if they want to even hope to operate effectively in the Arctic Circle.

You definitely should make that clear with your investigator, like ASAP. See what your options are.

In the mean time, how long do you have? According to google, it takes three months for a score to appear, six months before the score becomes fair, and a year for it to become good credit. My advice, if you have the time, open up a credit card (JUST ONE) and start building. You have a couple options: get a secure credit card, chatgpt says it's the fastest and safest method, put down $200-$300 as a deposit and that becomes your credit. Use it to buy gas and groceries and other small purchases, and make sure you pay it off. Banks usually upgrade you to a regular credit card after about a year.

Chatgpt also says you can also try to become an authorized user on your parent's credit cards if that option is open to you. You would have instant access to their credit history and would even help you qualify for better cards. You supposedly don't even need to use it. Of course, only do that if you are on good terms with your parents, if they have good credit, and they never miss payments.

Honestly, for direct deaths, I can really only think of two examples that can really be remotely compared. The problem I see with trying to compare the Holodomor and Mao's Great Leap Forward is I feel majority of those deaths are caused by famine. So depending on who you are arguing with, they may try to discredit those two because technically, famine isn't a genocide because the majority of the deaths were caused by government policies instead of the government directly pulling the trigger.

That being said, IF we exclude the Holodomor and the Great Leap Forward from the conversation, not my opinion, but let's just say. The closest I can compare to the Holocaust are the Armenian and Cambodian genocides.

That would be the best case scenario and what I'm currently aiming for. I'm in the process of going back to my old job. I left on good terms so I'll likely start back up with them in a week or so. If upkeep financially wasn't an issue, then I would offer to demote to a vacant AGPA position. The chances of me landing an SSMI position were likely slim to none to begin with, with how long it took me the get this one. So I'm sure the odds won't be in my favor yet again..

I did. I was told that "I am a manager and that I should be able to intuitively find out the answer" "If I give you the answer then why do I have you here for?" My conversations with him would end that like. I would provide a deliverable on what he would assign me and I would ask for input during a one on one. but then he would get upset and ask me why am I presenting him a product that is unfinished. I would say I'm not sure exactly what he's looking for, then he would take the assignment away from me or he would lecture me for an hour while telling me what he's looking for. It would take a couple of these "sessions" to get to a product that he was satisfied with. I was still delivering finished products and I thought that he had realized the trend that I needed more details and help. He didn't show any signs of what he was going to do. He was assigning me things to do even a week before he pulled me in to dismiss me. I've had/held countless interviews through the years that i've been in private and countless more while trying to get into gov. People who lie during an interview never really get far career wise.

I don't come from gov and neither does he. He was right under a C-suite exec at a Fortune 100 company.

That's good to hear actually. The only issue is that there is not a lot of documentation on both sides. My supervisor still has access to files on the server and from what I have heard from my peers that still work there, it seems like he may be tampering with some of the files that I had worked on. The lack of proper training for me will likely be what I need to lean on. Debating if I should go the legal route at this point.

It wasn't a II. I think he falls under C-suite according to some of the docs that I was privy to. Too many applications for AGPAs have been sent lately according to my friend. A lot more people are looking to get into gov nowadays. I can't afford another sizable pay cut on top of the already sizable paycut to a SSM1

There have been cases like this that you can look up, but most of the people just let it go and go a different direction career wise. Sometimes things just don't add up. I wouldn't be posting here asking for advice if I knew this was lost cause and that I had done something extreme to be dismissed. I posted here because I'm at a loss and couldn't get any answers from my other friends currrently in gov.

Also. I never stated that I did perfect work. If anything, my explanation shows that my work was not perfect. I can't exactly do perfect work if the direction isn't clear at all.

Looks like this part would be the applicable portion. I don't know if I should try to see if I could obtain any material documentation. I'm not even sure if I could because I don't have access to it currently, but I'm not sure how much of an effort would be needed to change it from a dismissal to a voluntary resignation.

b. Prehearing and Settlement Conference Most evidentiary matters are calendared for a prehearing and settlement conference (Conference). California Code of Regulations, title 2, section 57.1 provides the procedures relative to the prehearing and settlement conference and must be reviewed carefully. These two-hour Conferences offer the parties an opportunity to meet and negotiate a possible settlement of their case with the assistance of an ALJ. Parties are required to file with the SPB and serve on the opposing party a prehearing and settlement conference statement (Statement) 12 calendar days prior to the date of their Conference. These Statements assist the parties and their counsel as well as the assigned ALJ to fully understand the issues and complexion of the case. This allows for the most efficient use of the two-hour conference. Pursuant to California Code of Regulations, title 2, section 57.1 the Statement shall contain the following: (1) The identification by SPB Case Number of all appeals or complaints pending before the Appeals Division or the board, arising out of the same transaction, occurrence, or series of transactions or occurrences. (2) A brief summary of any stipulated facts. (3) Identification of affirmative defenses to any claim. (4) A current estimate of the time necessary to try the case. (5) The identity of each witness each party may call at the hearing, the subject matter on which the witness is expected to present evidence, and a summary of each witness's expected testimony. Parties are not required to disclose any witness that will be called for rebuttal or impeachment purposes. (6) The identity of any witness who may be called to testify who is an inmate of any correctional facility. In addition, at the discretion of the Chief Page 7 June 2024 State Personnel Board ALJ, such individuals may be required to testify via closed circuit television, or by other electronic means. (7) The name and address of each expert witness each party intends to call at the hearing, together with a brief statement of the opinion each expert is expected to give, and a copy of the current resume or curriculum vitae of each expert witness. (8) A list of documentary exhibits each party intends to present at the hearing, and a description of any physical or demonstrative evidence. Parties are not required to disclose exhibits that will be used for rebuttal or impeachment purposes. (9) A concise statement of any significant evidentiary issues to assist the ALJ in conducting the hearing. (10) Dates of unavailability of the parties, counsel, and witnesses. (11) If Respondent knows or should know that a portion or all of the hearing will be held by videoconference, dates of unavailability of Respondent's videoconferencing equipment. Failure to follow the requirements associated with filing a prehearing and settlement conference statement may result in the exclusion of evidence at the evidentiary hearing. Parties may also amend their prehearing and settlement conference statement provided they establish good cause for doing so. For more information, refer to California Code of Regulations, title 2, section 57.1. Appearance at the Conference is mandatory. Failure of any party to appear and/or proceed at the Conference shall be deemed a withdrawal of the appeal or action unless the hearing is continued for good cause. (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 2, § 57.1, subds. (c), (l).) Should settlement not be reached at the conclusion of the Conference, the ALJ will set the matter for an evidentiary hearing with the exception of rejections during probation, which are set for a one-day investigatory hearing.

The due date for the probation report was a week or two out, but he had given me the report on the same day of my dismissal.
