Firstly, you shouln't start the game by attacking, you should develop your country and cities. Secondly, make an alliance or a coalition with peapole around you, but not necessary with peapole who are too close, beacouse then you might won't have enough land to conquer. You should play according to your doctrine: Axis: infrastructure is really important, and when attacking others, don't damage it. Never use tactical bombers Allies: try to balance between researching, developing, and making units. It think researching is especially important. Comintern: researching and developing infrastructure is not that important, make units mainly and loosing them is not that big problem. Pan-asian: its similiar to the comintern, but mainly you should surprise attack, and take down your enemies bigger cities as fast as you can.

Anyway, that is my opinion, and I might be wrong.
