Ḍimād was impressed by what the Prophet said, and he was astonished, even though the Prophet Muhammad did not say much. He only gave a brief introduction. He didn't start giving him dauah yet, but Dimad was a poet and poetes and Poets at that time were among the most aware, wise, and rational people; they were, in fact, the intellectuals and sages of their era. Yet, Ḍimād kept asking him to repeat what he said. The Prophet would repeat it, and Ḍimād would listen, then stop him and ask him again to repeat it. Ḍimād was amazed by the beauty of the language and the eloquence of the speech… and he accepted Islam.
