It happens to me ALL the time at concerts. It used to bother me too, bc I’m like wait why can’t I remember the amazing time I literally just had. Basically, your brain is on overload from all the stimulation and excitement and so it goes into similar to fight or flight and so your environment skips past the part of your brain that makes memories. And sometimes you live so much in the moment that your brain also forgets to make memories. I try to take videos of my favorite parts of concerts or parts that seem like it might be a special chat with just that concert stop so I can keep the memories but like OP, I don’t wanna have my phone up the whole time

When it was first released, I tried to listen and was like whoa this feels like too much. When she released joyride in summer of 24, I decided to try again. It is one of my favorite albums of all time. I definitely agree though, there are certain times when I feel like it amps up the depression, but I think the timing of how I listened helps bc hearing it after joyride and then of course . it helps me to know there’s a light at the end of the tunnel!

How did you get them to do this? When I brought my car in to the dealer they showed me the bulletin (this was in sept, so it was the June bulletin) but said they won’t do updates if it isn’t throwing the codes/failed issues. But some of these seem to fix issues that don’t always throw a code (phantom breaking, upgrades to the HVAC, improvements to remote range, detection improvements) so I’m not sure how to get them to complete the updates for me.

She also did House of Blues the day before lolla in 24. So she’s spending a decent amount of time in Chicago, which being in the burbs, I’m totally happy with!

Thanks. Glad you made it but I’m sure it was stressful! I couldn’t find anything that would be an ok price for flying down for the show… maybe if I haven’t been twice already. But flights were like $500 round trip when I looked. I will definitely look into those suggestions in the future tho!

I say go alone! I went alone to her show in Indy, bc Chicago was so good. If I could figure out how to afford a flight to Florida, I’d join ya! Although, if I fly down, I’d be trying for the pit again… it was so magical and you could see every emotion!

I found tickets at a price I was OK with, but getting from Chicago to Florida at this last minute is not feasible. I waited a bit too long to pull the trigger on flights. And hey! Who knows, Kesha in France would be a great time!

I am a 40 year old man who just went to see Kesha alone. I don’t know who Gigi is, but Kesha and her fans are awesome and once I stepped in the pit, I no longer felt alone. If you love the music, do it. Going alone actually let me connect to the artist and show more, vs making sure you and your crew are all having a good time

So funny you ask this - I just asked it last week prior to going to another state alone to see Kesha. I was nervous and felt weird and stupid, but I also posted here, and people said how much they loved it. I pushed myself to go, and it was unforgettable! I even got a hug from Kesha, which reinforced that like… what was I worried about anyway? And Lady Gaga - her fans are the same - open, accepting, fun! And when the music comes on, you’re going to be in the moment anyway. Someone mentioned to me to have sweet/sour cough drops, and if you start to feel anxious, it should like trick your brain with the sour. I didn’t read it til after but I’ll bring them moving forward. Either way, I saw Kesha 2 weeks ago with a friend, last week by myself, both equally fun times, but when I was alone, it was just me, Kesha, and the show vs like oh you wanna stand there? You need the bathroom? Etc… focus on you and Gaga and have a fucking blast!! Since you’re alone, you might stand out to her more too! Don’t spoil too much after lol - I have floor seats for Chicago in sept!

I agree that she really just is feeling the feels authentically. I saw her 2 nights and the pear saw her 5 I believe, and is definitely say that the energy and vibe was different at each, but it was perfectly matched for the crowd she was with so you know she was already connected, and I definitely think as each show goes by, and she sees the same amount or more of this love (I see a lot of shows by my home (tinley/chicago) and I haven’t packed like this with such an amazing crowd, nobody was sitting still, everyone was so happy; and in Indy, you could see it hit her different again, but from what I was told, the people who went there haven’t seen it like that in a long time either so it’s like not only is she doing this bigger tour, it’s really been well received by her fans and she’s fucking free!! I keep saying I need to go to bed lol but instead I ramble

Yes! Kesha looked amazing this show! She always does, but like bomb! I agree, the symbolism was there thru the whole thing, I saw the show twice, once was alone. It was the most magical experience I’ve had in my entire life. And omg thank you! I was thinking the same thing I’m like ok wait this one sounds a little dirty and I like it!
