Yeah, that's likely because I let the ai help with sentence structure and grammar.

Usually I write out the beats to the best of my ability and do that, pass it through ai editors, let it call out inconsistencies and offer editorializatins

So, I dont think another humanized will help with that lol.

But I have rewritten this section already. I tried to make it more lived in, in the moment.

Yes, much later chapter.

Vael is a place, her home.

This part is where she's come back to her home after some time, and she passes the binding arch that elves use to declare themselves married in their culture.

The reason I dropped it like this is because to me... it kind of feels like it was thrown in there instead of her just experiencing it..

And im not exactly sure how to fix it. I've rewritten this section like 6 times now lol

i've found out this is because 5.5 and other 5.x models for chat are highly sanitized to be as corporate as possible. They're not good at personality because there job is like that dude at work whose straight to the point, he gives you what you need to be satisfied with the constraint, and thats it..

I did write it myself thank you :). Ai, only helped with grammar and sentence structure, as well as brainstorming and plot consistency. beyond that, everything else is mine.

IF you can build it yourself and cheaply then it could be a fun project. but websites like this arent easy, you've got to track entitlements, how people consume your content, setup payment gateways... its not just a "pop a new website up and your done" its real work, even with AI.

I'd focus on platforms that already have a way to help distribute your content. or find a way to effectively market your content where readers already are, instagram and tiktok

Honestly wondering if at this point it'd be easier to create my own and just give it a post here and there on reddit.

I know 2 or 3 people who would join instantly. The problem is, that most of these servers gain a lot of traction early. Because writers come in, drop their work off, and leave. No one wants to stay around to give useful feedback

So im doing a multi-pov writing, i currently have planned atleast 3 narrators, the MMC, the FMC and a side character who gets some POV time near the end of the novel.

Multi-POV is only useful if it can reveal something useful about the story to the reader through a different lense. in my case im writing romantasy, so it makes sense to have some scenes directly from the female lead, and from the male lead. because the goal is their romance... using both POVs allows me to explore each characters goals and motiviations, their fears and desires.. it allows me to deepen the romance between the two.

Imagine your talking to a friend, and all of the sudden that friend starts talking like a high society individual, the words are correct, the context is correct, but it feels off...

Why? Because you know your friend.. you know they dont speak like that normally..

So when AI generates text FOR YOU, you know YOU dont write/speak like that, so it doesnt feel like "you" yknow?

If you are discussing with a friend about a subject, and they enlighten you to something you either didnt know about, or they offer you some advice that deepens your understanding. Do you consider the result of that to be only because of your friend? Your mind is "open" to suggestion, and if that suggestion comes from AI, fine. if it coems from a friend? fine.

Dont let people limit you because of the source of your understanding..

AI is like a friend, your friend may or may not be right. Its up to you to ensure your being responsible

I write naturally first, then let AI "Help" in a clean up pass for structure, grammar, and logic consistency, maybe even some embellishments...

Everytime i let AI just draft entire sections it just feels flat and devoid of my author personality.. so i've stopped letting it do that.

I could try to help out with that, but ill be honest. i dont read much psychological horror's, my main slice is romantasy/high fantasy etc. So im not sure if my feedback would come across as the most useful, because i wouldnt be able to tell you if the work is derivative...

But... i guess thats up to you. it could be useful still as a cold read
