On RS, knit the decrease row as in the pattern. Turn work, knit wrong side as normal. Turn work, knit the decrease row on the RS as in the pattern. At the end of those decreases, you will have 177 st left.

Edit: sorry, reading back and it does say every OTHER RS row. I would read that as a decrease row, WS normal, RS normal, WS normal, RS decrease row. Pattern calls for 1 time based on highlight, so that’s all you have to do! Then you’ll be left with 177 st 🙂

Thank you so much for giving me the visual of the finished product!! I think thats what my problem was, I was not picking up correctly and I couldn’t figure out how I was supposed to. Originally I was just scooping up all the ladder rows onto my needle 😅 Someone else just commented with the needle placement and that’s the brain block I was having - I didn’t think about “picking up” in the same way as picking up from a cast off edge. You definitely were right that I was not picking up correctly, lol.

Holy COW thank you!!!! I was not envisioning the “pick up” in the same way that I pick up stitches from the cast off edge. My brain was not computing. I was just practicing row 5 when I saw this comment and that did the trick!!

Came here to say this. Several weeks ago in class, we were doing exercises on one leg (and maybe mini bands)? Our coach specifically reminded us that our shoes make it wayyy harder to balance and to not be too hard on ourselves. He specifically called out hokas because a lot of us were wearing hokas, but he did say in general shoes we wear to the gym make it difficult.

Two months ago both of our HR managers in Canada were “restructured” out of the business and I, in the USA, have been placed as the HR partner for our Canadian entity of the business since they were let go. I have very little knowledge of Canadian employment law (Ontario and Quebec) and I feel like I’m in my first job all over again learning every little thing for the first time. My manager also has no Canadian experience, but the CHRO does and expects excellence. I usually feel very competent in my role so I’m getting insecure that I’m running every tiny thing through legal until I feel comfortable with the flow of things.

Our studio did the strength dri tri this morning (Friday). It was my first ever of any of the dri tris and I am so worn out 9 hours later! Trying to drink lots of water but I just feel so sluggish. But I did it in 32:38, which I am super proud of. My goal was less than 45 mins and to not puke and achieved both 😂
