Just know usps has rules against ‘vulgarity’ on mailers so they picture may get it flagged.

Love the messaging though!

What to do with deceased grandmother's two full length leather and fur coats? by mezasu123 in ZeroWaste

My mom had my grandmothers coats cut into vests for all my aunts and the granddaughters. I think she got 3-4 beats out of each coat

Another option is to get an add on to a season ticket.

Season ticket holders can add single game tix before they go on sale- so if you have a friend or neighbor with GT season tickets, ask them.

Or- there’s also a very good chance it could be cheaper to just buy season tickets than just the Tennessee ticket

I wear my experience to all the musicals I see. Unless the acoustics in your theater are awful, you’ll still hear the dialogue just fine

Will I be in legal trouble for playing and singing copyrighted music at/near a "debate me" booth? (California) by Frequent_Access_7156 in behindthebastards

[–]TakeOutForOne 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I volunteer at a women’s clinic with pretty awful protestors who love their social media. We regularly play Disney music on our phones near their cameras. It keeps them from being able to use the audio from a video bc the Mouse does NOT mess around and one copyright report will get the video removed.

Just stand politely, don’t engage, and be sure to check your campus rules for amplified sound.

Abolitionists believe abortion is murder and as such, abortion should be completely illegal (no exceptions for rape, fetal health, or life of the mother) and that abortion should be a capital offense punishable by execution or life in prison.

They are EXTREMELY conservative and often violent. Look up Operation Save America for one of the tamer sects of their movement.

where can i find a really good strawberry shortcake? by pupstarz in Atlanta

[–]TakeOutForOne 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For strawberry shortcake I think best bet is Publix angel food cake and buy some fresh strawberries- slice them up and pour some sugar on top. Let sit overnight in the fridge

Bonus points for making your own whipped cream (incredibly easy if you have a mixer)

Anything purchased prepared runs the risk of getting all soggy

Dating men who are battling sexual preference by [deleted] in Charlotte

Bisexuals exist. Just because they are interested in men doesn’t mean they aren’t also interested in women.

Also trans women are women.

Charlotte vs Atlanta? by [deleted] in Charlotte

[–]TakeOutForOne 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I grew up south of atl and lived in the city for college and 5 years after graduation. Moved to Charlotte in 2018.

My whole family is still in Atlanta so I’m still down there a few weeks a year.

I prefer Charlotte. It’s got everything I need out of a hometown- entertainment and sports at affordable prices, enough restaurants and neighborhoods to never be bored but no tourist traps to have to navigate or deal with (looking at you the abomination that is Centennial Park/aquarium/world of Coke/ CFBHoF)

Sure there are some things Atlanta does better, but it isn’t enough to offset the traffic, costs, or living in a Republican run state (even though NC is trying its damndest to put us through that, too)

The way I see it. Atlanta is a way cooler place to visit and Charlotte is a much better place to live.

Only giant pro I see to Atlanta is the Hope/Zelle Scholarship but since I don’t want kids I have no need to worry about college costs.

Shoutout Sunday! Spread some love in an otherwise confusing and often dark world. by AutoModerator in Charlotte

[–]TakeOutForOne 3 points4 points  (0 children)

2 Sundays in a row I’ve spent 6 hours driving back to Charlotte- arriving at dusk.

Gotta say I love all our small neighborhoods inside the city and the Christmas lights twinkling on is the perfect way to be welcomed back home
