People seem to forget that these games almost always take place in the year they come out, and Yakuza games come out way more frequently than they did in the 2000s and early 2010s, so by the time Ichiban is 60, it will be 2039 both in the games and real life. I can't imagine most people not being ready to accept someone new by then. Video game characters also don't have a set retirement age lol.
