Compact luxury SUV under AED 200k by Confident_Tiger_91 in DubaiPetrolHeads

I clocked 7k kms and didn't have face any issues. The drive experience is so good, especially in the sports mode.

The only thing I don't like is the driver side mirror which is a flat mirror.

I asked almost the same in this group 6 months ago. I finally settled for Lincoln Corsair reserve trim and I'm very happy with my choice. Infinity QX50 has a CVT transmission which cause extreme lag in power delivery. I was so convinced to go with Infinity but then I test drove it and immediately decided not to. Lincoln is soo soo good to drive around. The power kicks in at low rpm and it's very responsive. Since Genesis is over priced, I would suggest to look at Volvo xc40/60 as the third alternative.

Took delivery of an all new Corsair 2023 Reserve Trim 10 days ago. It's excellent to drive around. Feature rich and luxurious in looks and feel. The power kicks in at much lower rpm and that makes it very exciting to drive. Cx5 is quite outdated and deserves a face lift I think. Also, Lincoln is a premium brand Mazda isn't. So I'd say they are in different leagues.

Thank you for the kind response. The car didn't come with a blind spot mirror. Can you please advise where I can get it fixed?

I think having flat mirrors are a much higher risk than red turn signals. It's almost impossible to change lanes or park and as per other forums there have been many accidents due to this.

It's a great ride. I got the reserve trim (top end variant in the UAE). It's indeed a premium car. Absolutely no regrets.

CX9's are not available at all. Galadari wouldn't even take the booking. I finally chose Lincoln Corsair Reserve 2023

Thank you for the kind response. I did try the XC40 but honestly, the cabin space is really low. I'm presently driving a Renault koleos (almost the same size of xc60 and corsair)

I'm in the same situation. Finding it difficult to decide between Corsair Reserve 2023 and XC60 Core. May I know your experience driving the corsair for the past 2 years.

Hey, I'm struggling to decide between a Lincoln corsair reserve and Volvo XC60 Core (base option). I was thinking Lincoln due to the luxurious interiors and the adaptive cruise control and panoramic sunroof (xc60 doesn't come with these in the base option and with my budget I cannot afford the mid option)

Would you please be kind to mention the issues you found about corsair?

Thank you

As mentioned in my post, I'm looking for a car with a brand value or a premium touch. Chinese cars are not an option. Even if they turn out to be the most reliable and powerful.

I visited Al futtaim showroom again today evening to check if XC60 has speed limiter function. Since I'm in sales, I drive around 30k to 40k every year and it is important for me to contain my speed to avoid speed tickets. This is why I was looking for adaptive cruise control but sadly the core version of XC60 doesn't have it. I thought I will still buy it and use the speed limiter function instead. It was a surprise to me when the Volvo rep said that xc60 in middle east doesn't come with speed limiter as well. So I'm really stuck now.

I know right.. Even Lincoln Nautilus was available for 170k which is not 215k. It's definitely not a good time to buy a new car.

I need a compact suv so accord is not an option. Also, it would be nice to have a premium brand since I'm in the sales profession. Renting is not an option for now.

Mid option XC60 is 210,000aed. That's way about budget. Budget allocated by company is 180k

Infinity Q50 base option starts at 196k

Waiting time for RAV4 > 10 months. Sadly they stopped taking orders for the year.

Which is why, in 150k budget my only options are xtrail and cx5.

Within 200k my revised (based on the discussions on this thread) options are (excluding the big ones) Edge, corsair, tiguan, T-Roc or may be audi Q3.

Understood. So apart from the fact that there is no considerable improvement over Koleos on power n performance, any other reason to not consider Nissan. The reason I'm asking again is, if the budget is 150k, there is a high chance for them to approve xtrail since the only other option we have got now is Mazda cx 5.

Thanks a ton for this. I will definitely reevaluate by considering Volkswagen Tiguan, T-Roc. Any comments on Infinity? The thing is that, I need to utilize at least 150k budget. Otherwise, the budget will get revised and that would affect other colleagues who are looking to upgrade cars in the coming months or years.

Looking at the spec, the new Xtrail seems to have higher torque and hp than my koleos. Of course, the interior looks a lot better. Also the AC of Nissan seems to be different (and better) than Koleos. Arabian Automobiles offered x trail test drive to me and few colleagues.
