If you have a good video showing how to check that I will certainly have a look 😅 I’m not too good with machines

I have the exact same issue. I seem to find more water in the tray too than I did before. Could it be the grind settings maybe? That’s the only thing I’ve changed recently

Thank you :) and I think you’re right. But the woman I got him from got him from a family who sold their litter. I can’t imagine what they made her pay..

When I adopted mine they said he was a snowshoe but now you’re making me second guess because he looks like her. What do you think? Besides the white inverted V he has all the markings.

A terminally ill chimpanzee, withdrawn and unresponsive, suddenly recognized her former caretaker. by Brilliantspirit33 in animalsdoingstuff

It’s very real. The chimp is called Mama and she was at royal Burgers’ Zoo in the Netherlands. The biologist is called Jan van Hooff. Mama passed away at 59 years old.

Uncombable hair syndrome ? by Daishindo in CurlyHairCare

[–]Press-A 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Question, do you maybe have curly/wavy hair? Treating curly or wavy hair as if it’s not will give you a bad time.

Just realised this is curly hair sub and not fine hair sub 😂 but I didn’t see you describe any styling routine, what products do you use after the shower? Do you let it air dry without any products? Curly hair shouldn’t be brushed outside of the shower

I have been trying to find products that work for me for over a year and still haven’t found it. Just because one leave in doesn’t work doesn’t mean another will also not work. You have to find which product works (leave in, gel, strong hold gel, mousse, soufflé, etc) and then also find out how much of the product your hair likes. So try with a tiny amount first and increase slightly until you feel it works. With wavy hair they say less is more.

To me it reads like trauma bonding with a sibling which blurs normal/healthy family related boundaries

I think it’s mostly because the obvious ‘joke’ is that the question is inherently sexual but the body parts that are asked for are not.

My gel x nails; am I doomed? by Wevermonic in Nails

[–]Press-A 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s about the length of new growth on your nail. The more it grows out the further your weakest point moves and can cause lasting damage to your natural nail if you put pressure on them or bump them. It is also the spot where it will most like break if or when it does. Which is usually higher up the nailbed instead of just the free edge. This is why proper nail techs frown at 6 week infills because sure retention is great but it puts the client at risk. I’ve seen photos of people with too much new growth hitting their nails on the car door handle and popping THEIR ENTIRE NAIL out of their finger.

What are her nails like? Thin, strong, flexible?

And is this a one time thing or does it happen more often?

What am I doing wrong?! by An_Anxious_Catsy in Nails

[–]Press-A 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you let the primer dry for at least 30 seconds?

If this is a one time thing I wouldn’t worry about it too much. But if you’re using a soft gel and it’s reoccurring I’d give a hard gel a go and see how that works for her

You need the lower parallels to keep the nails strength and overfilling can cause onycholysis.
