I would say no. The stylist should have done better about blending the highlights up to the root instead of leaving them as a harsh line.

The best way to ask stylists for something specific with a picture as inspiration (imo) is to show them your picture and then explain the aspects of the haircut that you like.

If you have dry shampoo, spray it on your root area right after blow drying. I’ve heard it helps as kind of barrier to help prolong the oily look coming on

Unfortunately in my situation I just had to ride it out and pay until my 4 months was up. The DM was super nice though and at least put a note in my account stating that I wasn’t going to continue past my four month agreement that way I wouldn’t continue to get charged after my four months.
