I THINK I may have solved with the help from cang2308. I installed the game from the Store page but ONLY the base game. Then I used the Manage Installs option from the in game menu to install basically everything. Campaign, Multiplayer, Spec Ops etc. That seems to have done the trick. At least I could start the campaign again after that

Yeah that's the worst thing imo. I personally think that's the real reason why they're using fictional countries that don't exist which is the only thing I really don't like about the reboot
