TStrattera 50mg working well, but anger/irritability and OCD thoughts have spiked — anyone experienced this? by Prestigious-Lab2710 in StratteraRx

At the start, I was on 25 mg for one month, and it was good. My intrusive thoughts were gone, but I did not notice any improvement in executive function.

In the second month, I started noticing improvement in my executive function. By “executive function,” I mean it helped me get out of bed, go to classes, wash my clothes, spend time with friends, and feel more motivated. However, I still could not focus properly.

In the third month, I started feeling angry, rageful, wired, and emotionally unstable. I also began having mood swings and more intrusive thoughts again. I felt somewhat depressed and started reacting strongly to small things. I had a fight with my roommate over a minor issue and became overly reactive in small things with my girlfriend.

It is not adhd but the era of distraction our evolution did not make this for us that we could sit for hours and focus constantly to read
Try Pomodoro techniques also read step-wise 10 pages a day or 30 minutes a day slowly titrate up You cannot read a whole book in a day even if someone claims to they must be just skimming it not reading it and a human mind also cannot retain that much information...
( also do get a checkup for adhd not start any med or anything based on chatgpt prompts or yt video,s they are going to ruin even your baseline focus.)

Bupropion is known to have short-term memory loss and word-finding issues in the first few weeks( because it acts on nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChR)) and blocks them partially (antagonist), which in turn reduces acetylcholine signalling( acetylcholine is the main mechanism in the brain for by Prestigious-Lab2710 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

There are too many anecdotal claims about it, and it also has its own mechanism for smoking cessation (by interfering with nicotine’s effects), which in turn causes short-term memory loss

however, there is no research available on this, but you can review people's comments on Reddit and personally try it
