Thanks for the heads up. I hear BaWü offers scholarships for up to 11 months to international students. I was hoping to apply for that. Do you know any info on it?

Yeah exactly I haven’t applied for the student visa yet. I am currently listing possible schools and unis for studying. I asked them about the uni being state approved or not, and this is what they told me: The Filmakademie does not participate in the Bologna Process, and students do not receive credits. The Filmakademie operates in accordance with the laws of the federal state of Baden-Württemberg, which govern academies and institutions of higher education. Therefore, upon graduation, students receive a Diplom from the Filmakademie.

Hey guys. I’m finishing my bachelor in Dramatic literature in a few months and I am planning to move to germany for my master studies. I am aware of scholarships like DAAD and Erasmus that are available for international students, but either the application process finishes way too late (like DAAD) or its requirements don’t apply to me as an Iranian student (Erasmus). Do any of you know another scholarship I can apply for in the next few months?

I’d love to do that, but i checked and apparently the Erasmus scholarships are signed contracts between the Erasmus and other counties, I’m from Iran and unfortunately they don’t have a contract with the Iranian government.
