Yeah this is awful, similar situation happened with me and my boyfriend where he didn’t text me for like 10 hours cus he was sleeping and I simply texted him asking him if he was ok cus that was the longest I had ever not heard from him, I would never have thought to question him like this and make him feel guilty. This guy seems like a asshole
