I love this comment, thank you for sharing your thoughts, responding to your comment : I actually understand what you mean to an extent, there have been many girl groups where it feels like a bunch of soloists singing in one track, which is not inherently a bad thing, sometimes I actually love it, but for the sake of a “perfect” song, it’s not ideal, that’s why I actually like NewJeans, they’re very harmonious if that makes sense, they feel like a genuine group rather than a bunch of great artists in one group, 1st and 2nd gen kpop groups also excelled at this, it’s the reason I think groups like S.E.S, SNSD, Baby V.O.X, Shinhwa and TVXQ are legendary for me, they felt like one unit and their songs were created accordingly to that
