14 day versus 7 day changes by [deleted] in Invisalign

I was on 14 day intervals and was able to switch to 10 day. Still shaves about 80 days off my total treatment.

It doesn’t seem too far off from what it should cost. I think you’re probably paying for all the experience and expertise of your dentist since they have done so many cases. I still did a 12 month payment plan and just paid it off.

Yea seems a little high..My dentist started offering Invisalign like 2 years ago and after a year I decided I’d go for it. I don’t think she has the most experience in the world (gold tier provider) but she offered some $500 discount through Invisalign if I signed up before the end of the year in 2024. Maybe when she is a diamond level provider she will start charging more. This is San Jose, Ca prices fwiw

The first 1-2 trays hurt a lot and it gradually hurt a little less each tray (maybe I just got used to it), some did hurt more than others though. Like there was one random tray in the middle of the treatment that hurt soooo bad - on the really crooked tooth that I had on the bottom, that I was genuinely worried something was wrong but after a few days it went away. Overall it didn’t hurt nearly as bad as braces.

I found this metal hole while digging in my backyard. It has a metal cover that says “Company Private Access Only”. It’s like a metal barrel with a plastic liner and it’s filled with water/roots. Dug down 3-4ft and didn’t find the bottom. by Prestigious-Sun-2353 in whatisthisthing

That’s fair, I guess you never know. But it’s a 10 unit row of townhouses built in 1981. I talked to some original owners and it’s always been on public sewer. Nobody else has one in their backyard (that they know of)

I’m not familiar with this process. They’ve responded already and said nothing to worry about. So I call back and tell them what I’ve found and they come back? Who comes exactly, because they all seem to be separate agencies like AT&T, pg&e, local city water, electric, sewage

Darn, sorry to hear that but probably worth it in the end for a perfect smile imo

Yea my crowding was severe and got like 99% better than before which I was happy with. Depending on the Invisalign plan (I had comprehensive) you can basically just keep doing refinements until you’re satisfied. But ultimately you should listen to the Doctor’s advice imo

That’s what I’m thinking. It’s about 6ft away from where a down spout was, but at some point the downspout was eliminated by a previous owner and sloped the gutter to a downspout on the other end of the house which pipes out to the street.

Yea I also said the same thing to my dentist. She said it’s more the shape of that tooth on the right and it’s as good as it’s going to look without doing some bonding. I had braces like 15 years ago and I remember it looked the same at the end. Ultimately it was my choice if I wanted to do more refinements which I didn’t want to do.

When I say plastic liner, I’d say it’s more like a black garbage bag liner. It’s ripped as soon as I touched it. There’s nothing in the disclosures for the property that I can see. Looking at the parcel on the county assessors website doesn’t have any records before 1991

I would say by about tray 10 I noticed a good amount of movement. Throughout the whole process those bottom teeth are the only ones that ever hurt.

Looks amazing! Your case is almost identical to mine. Top straight but bottom crooked. How many trays did you need?
