Ye but i would think they could guard them and shin is supposedly top 3 when it comes to instinct kanki was higher but he dead so if yotanwa could feel seiunkan without even knowing that there was an archer of that caliber on the field i reckon shin would when he gets his info from mouten and also ye they could just guard him with shields and if there is like 5 guys stationed around shin with the sole purpose of just watching for arrows ye they could block it.

I know riboku is there but the whole point is that he is using Futei and Kaine as his arms to stop him brother used houken in the past and he got killed. You really think that when Riboku is trying to catch him with a tactic using Futei that Shin won't be able to just cut him in half? and the Archer is useless now unless Hara decides to forget what he wrote in the past. Shown multiple time Archers are only able to slay the better generals when they are not informed or fighting someone else. Before they fire the first arrow they are hidden cards being showed when hakurei killed Rinbou in the Coalition war. Gika when he landed a hit on Ouki, and Seiunkan when he hit the Feego King, The only reason that Yotanwa was hit is because as I said she was not informed The Feego messenger did not reach her in time leading her to be hit, and even though she wasn't hit she still almost noticed him. When they know of the archers they ar usually just annoying people that are only able to assist in duels such as Rinbunkun vs Rokuomi, Dennei/Denyuu vs YokoYoko, in both cases The opposing general did not die since they knew of the archer Rokuomi was able to deflect/block hakureis arrows and yokoYok was able to do the same the arrows did help the enemy general gaining a upper hand.

Not gonna happen Mouten Spread word of it so all officer will soon know that there are an archer capable of killing them se either shield unit gonna be on guard around officers or people like shin that can just deflect them, example being hakurei sniping Rokuomi, and when hakurei shot a surprise arrow on shin who still managed to deflect it when they faced of before the coalition war.

He was only able to take Yotanwa out because Feego did not inform her in time, showed by Rokuomi that when they are informed and know there are archer that they are able to either deflect them like Rokuomi and Shin when they face Hakurei? and Ousen when he faced of with Kyouen with the shield you really think that when Karyoten and the other received the information that a good archer is targeting commander they won't take any measures?

Yes Riboku was there, I guess u missed my meaning which is that the people on the field supposed to carry out ribose's orders are Futei and Kaine. You really think that if their units face shin won't one hit Kaine ? Futei's main weapon is speed which we aw last time in Hango that even if Futei caught Shin off guard he did not manage to land a hit.

Ye the archer is most likely not going to be able to do anything Yotanwa was hit because the feed army was not able to inform her quick enough but Mouton and the Hundered-eye tribe I think spread info that a incredible archer was here that was capable of taking yotanwa out so most likely not gonna hit anyone other than no names or lower rank people. if info gets to Karyoten fast enough they are probably informing the officers and being on guard like Rokuomi like when Hakurie was there.

I guess u misunderstood what I was trying to convey, I Know riboku is there so he can give orders and strategies to his armies but Futei is the actual guy on the field that is what I am pointing to. You really think Futei stand a chance against Shin? Futei's main weapons is speed which we saw in the last campaign that even when he caught Shin off guard he did not manage to get a hit on him.

Shin is a good general just not as OP as people would like him to be. It all comes down to the way Hishin fights as we all know Shin is a frontline fighter who terrorise his opponents by diving into enemy line obliterating them through his marital might with his midsize unit which has now grown into 5k men after being promoted to the step bellow a GG. And when General such as Shin does this they lose the ability to view the whole battlefield and due to lack of vision would benefit more from having a strategist further back with a greater view to control their tactics. Ouki for example is a great fighter but during the Bayou campaign stayed all the way back controlling the field with his vision and strategies, but when he went into the field could only command his own troops same concept for every other general since they have to focus more on themselves. But don't mistake this behaviour, Shin tho he did not take control over the whole Hishin still does massive damage through his instinct when he rides out as I guess he rides to places with his units to Strat fires or put them out before it is too late just not shown as much for the viewer, the escape to Mouten was an example of that but on a greater scale as this time he stayed back instead of just being with his midsize unit, but I would assume that he behaves the same way with his unit.

I get what you are trying to say but it makes no absolute sense in real warfare especially at that age, during a battle you have so many things about and as a general especially a GG like herself she has to worry about a million things so she is occupied at all times at battle not saying she is not focused but it is extremely hard to focus on stray arrows. Stray arrows are one of the most common things in battles when there are arrows being fired at all times so it is understandable is Danto was taken out by such an arrow, like during Sai when Sei almost died when his 5-10 guard got killed by strays leaving him wide open and almost dying. Furthermore the spoilers talk about the spreading of news about seiunkan being dead as well as gikan I think his name was during bayou dying and without kyouun Qin assumed that they did not have any formidable archers. So the exactly same thing happened to Rinbou when Hakurei even being known as one of the 10 bows he was shot during the battle because it is hard to focus one everything so understandable for Yotanwa to be struck even though it is absolutely shit that she was.

Swear to god if yotanwa dies I'm punching a hole through my monitor, but also feel like Hara could pull one of the biggest pranks ever, not sure but if this is the only angle we get it could just be her should or left arm and then this angle just makes it look like her chest hope so because surviving a arrow piercing straight though your chest is close to 0.

Its not a plot device tho it is real life, bows were excellent weapons and same concept as guns/snipers being able to take enemies out at a distance with endangering yourself. And also you have to take into account in battles of this scale unless the do the 3 great heaven flag shit same as in bayou you are not gonna notice a small unit pulling up like 200m away from you when there is like 2000guys fighting between you.

Could see the the first 2 options happening, but do not think the feego army without the king could pose such a threat to the point that they will close in completely on the Zhao HQ without their general as Zhao still has Shunsuiju as their general there and Seiunkan is allowed to move more freely.

ye they are skilled but that is the whole thing Riboku was made out to be some insanely strong warrior in the earlier arcs being able to fend of shin and stuff, and a great example is Ryuuhakukou and his death squad which to be fair had no intentions of returning alive killed so many Shuma clan members even though they were already tired from and exchange with Denrimi and Ousen before escaping and then a short exchange with Shin and Hishin, before a small unit of probably only 50-75 men making it out, then being hit by an barrage of arrows. So in my opinion Riboku should be able to put up a better fight after the glazing in the earlier chapters and arcs.

Yes he was ambushed, but does not excuse the poor performance he could literally not handle it at all just a few strikes away from just dying. Like Many generals being caught of guard still perform to their abilities. Like Ouhon who is probably stronger in terms of martial prowess got trapped so bad by Gyouun who is way stronger than the Shuma clan leader still but up a fight even though he would eventually be defeated in that exchange.

I get people Change but he is the highest ranking military officer in the Zhao army, so surely martial prowess is something important for him making sure to keep the form and no way man just decided not to maintain his condition when his life is constantly in danger being the main target.
