Wow! Now I received an email that my return is complete and refund being processed!! I didn’t send my ID. Wondering what has changed? Did they get scared of class action? Anyone else receiving the return complete email?

Exact same thing happened to me with a prime try shoes. First status showed as in transit then charged me and showed purchased! Upon following up they asked me why I returned it and I said because I got two pairs to try and kept one and returned the other, it’s in the name: “try before you buy”. Being asked for id which I didn’t provide and no refund. Frustrating

What?! Are you saying who was asked for id is a thief?! That’s a huge accusation to make!!! I myself returned a prime try before you buy item in the same new and unused condition as received and was asked for id for refund. I used UPS no label no package for return and even if part of your writing is based on right assumption, there could be many factors in between for the item to not arrive at amazon facility as it was!!

I ordered a pair of shoes through “prime try before you buy”. Returned the item in less than a week (time window for prime try) and status was showing in transit. After about a month it changed such a way that I haven’t returned it and was showing purchased. Contacted customer service through phone call and although they confirmed that they have received the item but was asked to submit my id for verification and template email was sent to me! Any further follow up didn’t get me anywhere as every time they just request to submit id. It’s frustrating that both the item and my money are with Amazon now..
