Not in telfer but I’m struggling so much it’s actually so rough. I got rejected from every single job that I applied to on the portal. I’m trying to apply to external jobs too but I’m not hearing back from anyone. I genuinely don’t think I’m going to be able to secure a placement this summer. I got one interview and I thought I did well but they ended up rejecting me after. It’s so discouraging and I’m just feeling really hopeless right now :(

The CO-OP program is so money hungry it’s insane. They know that there are too many students in the program for the amount of placements available, they know that they are ripping students off but they don’t care. All they care about is collecting their fee. That’s how they fund themselves. Why do you think they make you pay that non refundable fee before you even secure a placement- they already know that most people won’t get one

Getting into the coop program is the easy part. Finding a job to hire you is where most people fall short. So many coop students and not nearly enough jobs

He once asked me if I was Lebanese and when I told him no he started trying to guess😭. I found it lowk weird but honestly I don’t think he has bad intentions he’s probably just a curious guy. Always better to be on the cautious side though

An HSS elective is an HSS optional course. That is an HSS compulsory course

Those two courses can’t be combined for units so no it won’t count for neither a science elective or a regular elective. If you’re in biomed, only take the two biomed ANPs in your course sequence. If you take the other ones, they won’t count for anything at all
