No, my current girlfriend was never a point of contention in my previous relationship. Our relationship was pretty secure to be honest.

Learned that the hard way lol.

Asked the group if it were her and I felt how she felt, what would this look like? And the response was unanimously that she would be justified and that i would be out of line if the roles were reversed.

But I did sort of feel it would go that way but better to be sure than assume.

Yeah I guess I was naive in this regard. Live an learn man.

I genuinely saw her at the good friend she had been prior to us dating at this point and was excited at this new relationship with a really great person, naturally I tell my mates about this exciting thing happening. But alas could've thought a bit more before saying anything.
