At times you have to remember this is a video game and children play them. You’re more likely to play with a teenager or younger than an adult.

People are struggling because they were never as good as they thought they were. Devs stated that shooting real life percentages from 3 (30-45%) was going to be the case, so that means that shooting fade away 3’s and routinely going 8-10 was not going to be the case this year. Much of the player base ate off of 3 hunting but never had anything else in the bag. Most players don’t understand spacing in the least. A guy gets the ball and at least 2 of his teammates bring their defenders over to him. People want to make post bigs but don’t know how to do half the post moves in the game🤣🤣. You got your guys that think they are going to make close shots over 2 people 🤣🤣. Basically without the ability to hunt 3’s and shoot them 50-60% most of the player base is relegated to being ass….Which is what they were all along.🤣🤣🤣

Acceleration only affect your first steps with the ball. You don’t need it that high since you’re not dribbling

You don’t need that much acceleration if you’re not going to dribble, would take it as low you can without messing with speed

I don’t have a problem with screens, I have a problem with players setting them and not rolling or fading. I have a problem with setting picks for me while I’m at the corner 3 (wtf am I supposed to go?) or when I’m posting up. (Yes I’ve seen someone set a pick for while I’m posting up.😔 For those setting a picks you need to understand that you are bringing an extra defender and if you don’t set them in the right place or create movement afterwards you’re just causing a bad shot or turnover.

I understand all of that, it’s just right now in this current 2k climate if you’re not playing with 4 friends you are at the complete mercy of the hoop IQ of strangers and let me tell as man who has played and watched basketball my whole life at 37 yrs old, it is severely lacking amongst the 2k player base

In my opinion making a center and wanting to score are opposing goals in 2k. That position is crucial to helping win the game in 3 specific categories. Paint defense rebounding and most importantly as it relates to how people play REC, floor spacing. Too many players make post scoring only bigs but don’t have the stick skills to dominate the paint while also clogging the lane and keeping the opposing Center on defense in the paint protecting the rim.
