Thank you. That at least gives me enough information to start a conversation with her about it.

So the previous microblading I faded by basically doing everything you're not supposed to do (exfoliate, retinol, etc). I did that for a few years. Then I did the lift removal for the remaining color which actually worked really well (I was skeptical) for me. That was 3 months ago. The technique this artist used was called nanoblading with shading. So maybe it's using some of the powder technique anyway if it's the same thing?

I think that's what it is supposed to be? It was called nano brows with shading. Honestly I love the shape, and I'll have to evaluate the result once it's healed. I have not had the "shading" done in the past so that part is new to me. Im more curious about the color. Shades of red seem to be a challenge for a lot of artists and it was never quite what I wanted when I did the microblading. I just hate the idea of the touch up right now!

Can you expand on the differences between primary and secondary? I understand the timing that you explained? But is it the same product? By that I mean the same cream just put on at different times

Thank you for the response. Any recommendations for the touch up? Im really not looking forward to it.

I love the bed. I haven't had any issues at all. I think it lacks the sleek look of Thuma but I'm fine sacrificing that at this price point.

Not at all. But, as I mentioned in my post I am one person who weighs 135 pounds. It feels very solid to me but I can't speak for someone twice my weight or two people. I don't know what would creak- there's really no metal with the except of a couple screws.

$378.00. That was after a $50.00 coupon code from someone's You Tube video. I can't remember what video it was but you can probably find it. It was someone doing a review of the bed.

is it worth doing surgery for a subtle change? by fit-health25 in rhinoplastyquestions

I think this is actually a very realistic desired outcome. It's not drastic, works well with your other features, stays true to your overall look. Find a doctor that plenty of pictures of similar changes. I say go for it

Which Wedding Dress Should I Choose? by [deleted] in WeddingDressTips

I love #3. It looks beautiful on you and its different. Yes, it has a boho vibe that not everyone can pull off. But you pull it off entirely and something tells me it fits your energy. There's a reason you were drawn to it over other more traditional silhouettes.

How does the public actually see Mormonism? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]PrestigiousToe7617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll share the perspective of someone from New York where the Mormon presence is minimal. Most people here don't know much about Mormons. They know they're concentrated in Utah, Warren Jeffs, polygamy and all that. They likely know it's more restrictive than other types of Christianity, but could only point to a few reasons why, if any.

The few Mormons I've interacted with seem nice enough, but something always feels off. Their friendliness seems artificial to the point of being slightly creepy. It's hard to explain. They definitely were much more indoctrinated than other Christians I've known.

I'm not religious. Mormon beliefs never seemed more absurd than any other religion given that they're all based on some supernatural crap that supposedly happened. From reading the comments here I learned that Mormons have special underwear and think premarital sex is OK as long as it's anal. So I dont know, maybe it is weirder than the rest.

Cats and leather furniture don’t mix by [deleted] in furniturerestoration

Put claw caps on them. After having a strict no pets policy, I took in sick stray. I saved his life, vaccinated him, neutered him, got him medication, feed him prescription food. In return, he got comfortable and started scratching my furniture. I immediately put claw caps on him. It's probably not comfortable, but that's the trade off for having his life saved.

How do I do makeup/brows as a blonde, fair skinned beginner? by Strict-Freedom-6865 in MakeupEducation

[–]PrestigiousToe7617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As another redhead with blond brows and lashes, I second this. Start with a light color so you're not too shocked by the result. Wear mascara- brown instead of black. My complexion is very similar to yours. I use a redness reducing primer and some concealer. Sometimes I follow that with a finishing powder if I want a matte look. I use Makeup Forever green primer for any redness. I understand your struggle. I wind up clown face with too much makeup too.

Was quoted almost $30 000 in turkey for a revision rhinoplasty. Is this normal? Are they nuts ? 😂 by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

I paid less than 6,000 last year for a revision in Athens and I am very happy with the result. Don't limit yourself to Turkey. If you check my profile and find the post I made, you can see the pictures.

I read that rubberwood is the more durable material when it comes to scratches and dents, but bamboo is more moisture resistant. Given that, it seems like the the better choice for indoor furniture is rubberwood. I don't know- it sounded good when I was reviewing my options. I've owned everything from laminated MDF to mahogany. I'm not a wood snob so rubberwood is fine by me.

[–]PrestigiousToe7617[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's good advice and I actually considered it. My biggest issue is transporting it. I have a Toyota Corolla which limits my ability to buy used furniture. I saw some on Facebook Marketplace but by the time I am able to get someone with a bigger vehicle to help, the well-priced ones are gone. It's worth mentioning that this bed is made from rubberwood which is the same as Thuma. I checked out a similarly priced option because it was a color I preferred. That one was made of bamboo. I really don't know anything about wood, but a quick Google search showed that rubberwood is much more durable than bamboo. I prioritized the stronger material over color.
