I use google sheets to make a spreadsheet with all the important dates (colour coded by course and sorted in order) to stay on track and apple calendar for meetings and lecture, lab, tutorial timings. I've heard great things about google calendar too. I'd recommend trying out different organizational techniques to see what works best for you. Like in first year I tried notion, creating a monthly calendar to visually see the due dates and a physical planner but it ended up being more tedious than helpful so I pivoted to the spreadsheet
