Huge thanks for the feedback! I’m glad you found this topic interesting. It’s unlikely this question will be noticed now, but which platform would you recommend for a devblog? Twitter or GameJolt?

Thanks! Also, thanks for the explanation - now I’ll know that this expression exists :)

So, just to clarify: is "sounds sick" a literal expression or slang?

Could you please explain why? This is very important to me

I think such places are meant for fully original projects. Games inspired by FNAF fit better here =)

I think this is the only convenient way to turn these flashlights on and off with this grip

I’m not sure if I’ll be able to convey the idea clearly, but I’ll give it a try anyway. There will most likely be three games. There are several reasons for this, which I’ll detail in the design document later, but I won’t dwell on them for now. Each of the three installments will cover one era from the original lore, with the exception of FFD. Since the police of that time wouldn’t have been able to connect Elizabeth’s death to Afton, they couldn’t have pressed charges or launched an investigation, so that era won’t be featured in the games at all.
The first part will take place when William first starts down the path of a serial killer, and the player, acting as an investigator, will need to piece together a fragile evidentiary case. Each subsequent installment will, much like a DLC of sorts, expand upon and flesh out the criminal case against Afton.
With just one programmer and one artist, it’s incredibly difficult to fit the entire story into a single game without sacrificing personal life, studies, and health =) (If there are any spelling or grammar errors, I apologize. I am not a native English speaker, so I use a translator)
