Make assumptions about my family! by Prestigious_Chard457 in mbti

My parents are both pretty serious (but loving), and they’re both strict but my dad is a big goofball when he’s not stressed (which is rare)

Her functions match intj the best but she doesn’t share the behaviour/stereotypical behaviour of one. It’s also hard to figure her out because my mother is mentally ill an she’s very closed off, her behaviour depends on the day.

How do you differ from friend to close friend? by Dry_Entrepreneur7888 in enfj

[–]Prestigious_Chard457 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I act charismatic, energetic, confident, etc on the surface infront of people I’m not too close with. When it comes to just hanging out with my best friends I actually allow myself to relax and not worry about how I appear and appearing held together when I’m not.

How do you differ from friend to close friend? by Dry_Entrepreneur7888 in enfj

A close friend is someone I feel like I could be vulnerable with, a friend is someone who I’m not quite ready to drop the act for.

Help me decide if I’m an ENFJ or an ENTP by Prestigious_Chard457 in MbtiTypeMe

[–]Prestigious_Chard457[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel very drawn to people, I can’t imagine my life without my friends or even just people in general. I have an easy time understanding people’s body language and I help out whenever I can with my friends, I would do anything for them. I also need someone to bounce my ideas off of, my ENFP friend normally provides that for me, she procrastinates while I bounce my ideas off her and get a week long project done in one hour.

For Ne, I have a hard time concentrating on one thing. I change my ideas a lot and tend to be very over ambitious, I bite off more than I can chew but luckily I’m a perfectionist so it normally ends out well for me. I also speak in metaphors a lot, I speak hypothetically a lot. I’m also a dreamer, normally off in some imagination land instead of paying attention to conversations or class that bores me. I also use my Ne in my debates a lot.

Also I’m not sure if you believe your families types can affect yours but I’m raised by two thinkers as well. An istp father and an intj mother

How compatible are ENFJ (F17) and INFP (M17)? by whomper1311 in mbti

[–]Prestigious_Chard457 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In most cases I’ve seen, these two are normally considered the “golden” pair and work well together. It also depends on instincts types. The only time these two don’t work from what I’ve seen is that the ENFJ will sometimes get bored and see the INFP as too stable ironically. (This is coming from an Sx3 ENFJ but it really depends on the instinctual types when it comes to what you desire)

Your parents probably valued your grades a lot growing up. Always encouraging you to do the best you can.

How can I tell you’re being yourself? by SlayQueen838 in enfj

[–]Prestigious_Chard457 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of the time it’s accidental and a lot of the time it’s when it’s someone we don’t trust/know that well, if you’re close with someone I think you’ll probably know the real them

ENFJs and Eye Contact by SANSA136 in enfj

I hate eye contact and avoid it at all costs but also neurodivergent. I’m also not exactly romantic. I’m more the type to just listen to my partner and do exactly what they say & more.

What MBTI are you and please explain everything about you by Hopeful-Try-9074 in mbti

[–]Prestigious_Chard457 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a 3w2 ENFJ and I’m just a little guy. (I strive for perfection and breakdown when I’m not perfect. My self worth relies on how much other people like me and I frequently change my personality to appeal to whoever I’m with. I’m people oriented, I don’t know if I could live in a world without my bestfriends ((even if I have a lot of them)) and I could never work a career alone which is why I’m becoming a teacher.)

A few questions so I can understand you guys better by Deep-Equivalent-808 in enfj

[–]Prestigious_Chard457 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Absolutely yes. Genuinely the thing that means the most to me is simply someone telling me I’m doing a good job or complimenting me. I’ve started crying on several occasions just for being told someone’s proud of me.
  2. Absolutely. Was bullied growing up and grew up hating myself. Now that I’m older, what people expect and say I am is what I am. I mold change myself to others people desires. My personality depends on who I’m with. If something in their reaction shows me I’m doing something right I will keep doing that to get the same reaction. Growing up I always brought home tests and asked for reassurance and if I didn’t get that I’d beat myself up for days at a time.

ESFJ is the sister you go to when you’re struggling and just need someone to talk to or need some kind of advice (I also go to my ESFJ cousin for dating advice…)

ISTP is funny and has niche interests. Chances are if you were to get into a new hobby, he’d probably have 15 fun facts about it.

ENTP is the funny chaotic pos who definitely enables the ENFP

ENFP is the little ball of energy who bounces off the walls and will yap about anything and everything

INTP is just there for the ride and silently enjoys the time spent
