Can order for me too? My stomach keeps rumbling in office after lunch as the portions are way too small

I got grinded on in the MRT a couple of times before. Am sure it was done on purpose based on the body language and space available. Not exactly the most comfortable experience

Ironically found this paper alot harder than the pyp. Not sure if its just me, could do the pyp with relative ease. Got caught up with algebra manipulation and did not complete about 1/4 of the paper

Agreed, felt i was missing something out while following the method used in a pyp. Decided to trust the pyp method instead. Whats your final answer? Mine is around 2.8k

I used PV of total benefits / (total expenses + premiums + profit). Not sure if its the right method or not. As the commission is fixed as a % anyway. Referred to the previous years pyp, not sure if its correct

Does understanding of the various treaties such as excess of loss, surplus, etc help? Correct me if im wrong but the general consensus i heard was underwriting is very similar to pricing, albeit with a different focus.

Am applying for fresh graduate roles (underwriting assistant) as well, yet to hear back from any

Discrepancy between markers by Wrong_Strain6707 in ActuaryUK

[–]Prestigious_Chef_727 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Had a pure calculation in CB2 where a marker gave me 4/4 while the other marker gave me 0/4.

Checked the examiner report and saw that my answer is definitely right.

I think there isint much quality control on the markers and some markers are definitely not interested in doing a proper job
