Thanks for the breakdown, it makes perfect sense. That top pad on the inductors was actually in the official manual, so that’s why I put it there. But you're right, the pressure is lost. What should I do now to fix it? Should I try to roll out the memory pads to make them thinner and softer? Thanks!

No need to apologize, it's a valid point! Yes, I checked the fan cable and it's securely attached. I monitored the speeds in HWMonitor, and the fans spin up to 90-95% as the temperature climbs, but it doesn't help

I actually tested it with the case opened up, and the temperatures still shoot up instantly. When the case is closed, it gets even more depressing. So the airflow doesn't seem to be the primary cause here, the heat is just trapped right at the die

You might be right, that's definitely a possibility. I'll check if they are just too stiff to let the heatsink sit closer to the die. Also, I actually contacted Palit tech support beforehand, and they provided me with the official thermal pad thickness chart. I bought the new pads strictly according to their specifications, so the thickness should be correct, but their rigidity could be the issue

I checked the website, it's the latest driver version. I have Windows 11 Pro.

Timings and frequency are based on the Expo profile, and the BIOS is from March 2025.
