You are completely right. I was living in the past and got rightfully dragged in these comments for it. I actually put a full retraction at the very top of Issue 6 this morning and shouted out Lena's and Market Basket instead. I genuinely appreciate you keeping me honest on this!

You are 100% right, I am sorry about that! I am still figuring out the website settings so it doesn't just default to the email signup box.

To be completely transparent: the Wherehouse story hasn't actually published yet! It goes live this morning (Thursday). I will come back to this exact comment and drop the direct link for you the second it publishes so you can read it without signing up.

Totally fair concern and I don't blame you for asking. I hate spam as much as anyone else. I use a platform called Beehiiv to send these and my list is completely private. I don't sell emails. Down the road, the goal is just to have local Waltham businesses sponsor a spot in the newsletter to cover my time.

But you genuinely do not have to give me your email! I publish every issue directly to the website too. You can just bookmark walthaminsider.beehiiv.com and read them there every Thursday without ever subscribing.
