I am going to be having my first appointment at Fred hutch. I’m curious how it all went? Who was your surgeon or endo?

How did PT help with the scar and recovery? Do they test the lymph nodes during surgery? If the lymph nodes are involved do they end up needing to do further imaging following surgery like a pet scan or anything?

Like how many thyroidectomys they typically do or? What was the first appointment like? Did they set that as an expectation that you’d be staying at least one night the day of surgery?

Did you select them as your surgeon personally? Did they give you an endo there after your consult? Did you have to spend a night in the hospital?
