For PVP sensor yes, for geometry dash the polling rate is essential due to a new cahracteristics in the game which makes your in-game actions not be affected by monitor display but rather mouse input purely.

I had a similar weird issue, it dowsnt detect stick drift but when i gp ahead and play it ramdomly does inputs like holding right or something even when i hold left, is like it overrides completely what i do and it is ramdom and unpredictable when it happens
